  1. I voted for TROTK... as much as I love Inception, it didn't have the three year build up that got me so excited like the final LOTR did... Epic stuff

  2. Definitely LOTR. Inception was entirely too confusing, and LoTR really isn't.

  4. Overrated versus underrated.. hmmm not so tough.
LotR: Return of the King it is.

  5. I voted Inception, because I honestly think the best LOTR part is The Fellowship of the Ring. This, and LOTR is gonna win anyway ;P

  6. Gotta give this one to Inception, complete mind-f*** of a movie that blew me away.  LOTR3 is the best of the trilogy and entertaining as hell, but not as good in my opinion.

  9. Damn. It all comes down to this. I loved Inception, it's one of my favorite movies ever; and it deserved all four of its Oscars. But LOTR holds a very special place in my heart. It was (and is) a staple of my childhood. I remember going to see Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers (unfortunately, I didn't see Return of the King in theaters), and I had a wonderful time. And of course, Return of the King is the best of the trilogy. Sean Astin deserved an Oscar (along with Andy Serkis. The Oscars have something against him). Plus, my favorite actor on my favorite show played the Steward.
Thusly, my choice is Return of the King. By far.

  14. Inception.  It may not have a shot against LotR3 and I am actually fine with LotR3 winning, but I think this is the trippiest movie I've ever volunteered to watch more than 5 times in one month.
