Relatively easy day for me:
ReplyDeleteBlack Swan - Loved NP's performance, and LOTR 3 is the weaker of the three in my opinion.
Up - Best Animated film ever...
The Tower Towers - The fight sequences are the best of the entire series.
Inglorious Basterds - Much stronger and cleverer film with brilliant performances.
King's Speech - More fun, and entertaining.
Gladiator - Epic. One of my all time faves...
Inception - Changed the way we watch blockbusters!
The Fellowship of the Ring - Easily the best of the series in terms of story and characters...
The LOTRs and Up!
ReplyDeleteALL the Lord Of The Ring movies
ReplyDeleteUp
Inglorious Basterds
Finding Neverland
Inception
The Kings Speech
You made me choose between Inception and No Country For Old Men?
ReplyDeleteI hate you.
:(
Easy choices for me today!
ReplyDeleteThe Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
ReplyDeleteUp - One of the best animated movies ever.
Inglorious Basterds - Tarantino's films are either love or hate for me and this one is in the love category.
King's Speech - I just liked it better.
Gladiator - One of my favorite movies.
Inception - Pure awesomeness, from start to finish.I think it's the only movie that may be threatening the LOTR trilogy.
Extremely easy decisions today!
ReplyDeleteLOTR3 - no question, best of the trilogy, and Black Swan I hated
Up - my favorite Pixar movie
LOTR2 - good movie and thoroughly entertaining
Inglorious Basterds - another no question ones, one of the best Tarantino movies
King's Speech - haven't seen either but just based on previews alone, this looked much better
Gladiator - one of my favorite movies, great action
Inception - another no brainer, mind-trip like no other, infinitely better than a Coen brother film
LOTR1 - fun and interesting, better than the Departed
LOTR 3 - haven't seen Black Swan
ReplyDeleteJuno - haven't seen Up
LOTR 2
Slumdog Millionaire - haven't seen IB
King's Speech - haven't seen The Pianist
Gladiator - I just LOVE this film!
Inception - Brilliant!
LOTR 1 - my favorite part!
I really need to catch up with so many great movies;)
I had to think a little today with a couple of the polls...
ReplyDeleteLOTR3 - Black Swan was brilliant for what it was, but LOTR is epic.Juno - I will never vote for an animated movie over a live action movie of any decent quality.LOTR2 - Best of the series for me.Slumdog Millionaire - One of those rare movies that is just perfect.King's Speech - see above.Gladiator - Honestly I like both so much. This was tougher than I expected. No Country for Old Men - I was not a big fan of Inception like most people I guess.LOTR1 - No contest for me even tho I liked The Departed.
LOTR all three movies (my favorite movies of all time), Up, Inception, Gladiator, Slumdog (sorry Basterds).
ReplyDeleteToday I chose:
ReplyDeleteThe Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Up.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Inglorious Basterds
Gladiator
Inception
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
My votes:
ReplyDeleteReturn of the King (Sorry, Mila Kunis; you didn't have a chance against one of the best movies ever made)
Up (Not as good as Wall-E, but Pixar excelled once again; and I didn't like Juno)
The Two Towers (Andy Serkis as Gollum/Smeagol was the heart of the movie. Helm's Deep was cool, also)
Inglourious Basterds (One of Tarantino's better efforts, right up there with Kill Bill; and I absolutely hated Slumdog Millionaire)
The King's Speech (Colin Firth was excellent)
Gladiator (I liked Finding Neverland, but I'm a sucker for ancient Rome)
Inception (A very difficult choice, but the ensemble casting swung it; I like Marion Cotillard)
The Departed (Another extremely difficult choice, but the twist ending was unexpected; and the acting was flawless. And, I already voted for two LOTR movies)

I liked Inception, too, so that was a tough choice. But I loved NCOM with Javier Bordem as death personified.
The Departed was an excellent, twisty, whodunit. Liked it very much.
