  1. Good stuff!

So far from promotional campaign to the pilot I am liking this series quite a bit!
Considering I'm not a fan of musicals... that's saying something!

  3. Is it just me or does Brian D'arcy James look like he's the love child of Fred Savage and Ray Liotta in that poster?

  7. Have you seen the pilot? What did you think of it?
I'm not a fan of musicals, but the reviews were so good that I was curious. The pilot was great, I  mean the writing and acting is superb. I really hope this does well

  10. I did see the pilot. I thought it was very good, maybe not "Awesome" , but surely "Great".

I thought the writing and acting were superb too, and I was quite surprised by the music... I liked the music from their production! I won't be adding them to my iPod anytime soon, but the songs were very fun within the episode and definitely worked for the play!

I found I actually cared for or each character by the pilot's end, or I at least enjoyed each enough to want to tune in for more. That in itself is pretty rare for a pilot these days. Usually the over caricature the characters to make them funny or charming and I lose interest, but I thought Smash had fullly dynamic realistic characters.

I hope the show succeeds. NBC needs a hit!
