Yay, I love a lot of stuff on this list!
ReplyDeleteCome on Fringe!
ReplyDeleteA lot of nominations for Breaking Bad!
ReplyDeleteGo Fringe Go!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Im really hoping Anna gets the award she deserves it ..Does anyone know when and where the awards are?
ReplyDeleteThey usually are in June and not broadcast because they're so small.
ReplyDeleteI hope she wins again, along with John Noble and Orla and of course Fringe.
Well deserved!
yeah just heard this year’s Saturn Awards will be presented at a special ceremony on Wednesday, June 20, in Burbank. Im totally with you on that ! :D
ReplyDeleteThe Saturn Awards are the best awards because they take all the good television rather than just what's considered 'acceptable' (ie, ignoring brilliant shows because they're sci-fi)
ReplyDeleteOkay, let's see. My picks:
ReplyDeleteNetwork Series- Fringe, of course.
Cable Series- Breaking Bad.
Best Presentation- The Walking Dead.
Youth-Oriented Series- Doctor Who.
Best Actor- Bryan Cranston.
Best Actress- Anna Torv.
Best Supporting Actor- Goddamn. This is a hard one. ALL the nominees are excellent. Normally I'd vote John Noble, but since Walternate hasn't made very many appearances (don't know why), I give the VERY slight edge to Giancarlo Esposito. Sorry, John. :(
Best Supporting Actress- Michelle Forbes.
Guest Performer- Another hard choice. Mark Margolis was excellent in the Breaking Bad season finale, but my vote is for Orla Brady. She's great.
I don't care about the other categories.
How nice to see people and shows that I actually like/watch nominated! Especially SPN and Fringe (John Noble!) ;)
ReplyDeleteSome nice folks represented. Though I'm sort of confused as to why Being Human is considered "youth-oriented." Also, The Killing is longer than 10 episodes. Though I suppose this must have to do with when they aired, idk.
ReplyDeleteGo Fringe!
ReplyDeleteFringe all the way!! Love that Orla Brady got a nom as well.
ReplyDeleteUnlike the Emmys (Oscars) I have seen most of these. Got to love genre TV.
ReplyDeleteYAY Anna Torv , Fringe! To bad John Noble isn't on the list!!!
ReplyDelete♥
ReplyDeleteF R I N G E !
I was just going over the list again, and i beef to pick. How does Noah Wylie get a nod and John Noble gets nothing?I really don't understand....
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category.
ReplyDeleteLook at the Best Supporting Actor category. He's there, and has a good chance of winning.
ReplyDeleteHa! And i'm wearing my glasses, guess i need glasses for my glasses. Thanks Dahne.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen everything here. Still, if I were voting, my ballot would look like:
ReplyDeleteSupernatural (over Fringe because I think the current season of SPN is better than current season of Fringe, although both are good)
Leverage (pure fun)
Falling Skies (by default - only others I've seen are Camelot and Walking Dead, which I hated)
Doctor Who (classic)
pass
Kyra Sedgwick or Anna Torv (depending on the day)
John Noble ( with absolutely no reservations at all - phenomenal)
Beth Riesgraf (one of 3 that makes Leverage absolute must see summertime fare for me)
Orla Brady (I love Tom Skerritt but Orla Brady makes every scene she's in - power punch each time)
pass
Willy Wonka (for nostalgia)
LotR (mostly by default - bought all three earlier so won't be buying the new, new edition)
Farscape (still one of sci fi's best)
I don't know much about the Saturn awards, but I many of the shows I actually watch are here.
ReplyDeleteNetwork TV series: Fringe
Cable: American Horror Story (but I've never seen Breaking Bad)
10 or < eps: The Walking Dead
Actor: I thought Dylan McDermott was great on AHS
Actress: Anna Torv
Supporting: John Noble (honorable mention, Joel Kinnaman)
Supporting: Lana Parilla
Guest: Orla Brady
Yeah I was wondering about Being Human being considered that way too. Strange.
ReplyDeleteHope Farscape will win!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Fringe, Anna Torv and John Noble take top places.
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
ReplyDeleteOh who the fuck am I kidding? JOHN NOBLE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFRINGE in all of their categories...Anna Torv, John Noble and Orla Brady have been magnificent every year, I love them!. Just out of curiosity, where can I find which episodes they submitted?
ReplyDeleteGO OUAT! :D
ReplyDeleteGo OUAT, go Lana! :-)
