Raising Hope - Season 2 - Filming wrapped up

Thanks to Jonathan for the following.

According to a tweet from star Garret Dillahunt, filming has wrapped on the second season of Fox's wacky comedy "Raising Hope".

The sophomore laffer now has eight episodes left in the can, seven of which will air in its new time period (Tuesdays at 8:00 PM) starting March 6, as part of a new comedy block.

PS: Perhaps this means Martha Plimpton will be free to return to CBS' "The Good Wife" for another excellent cameo?

  1. It's moving to Tuesdays at 8:00?

Damn it, why is my Tuesday schedule so busy? It's like another Thursday!

  4.  I was thinking that too! It does seem rather early.

  5. Given the difficulty networks have had launching successful new comedies in recent years, and the fact that "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" is a sure goner, I would say Fox had better stick to what they have, it's as close to a hit as they'll get. Albeit a dismal performer ratings-wise, "Raising Hope" is a critics favorite, and that's gotta count for something. Hey, they did keep "Fringe" going, right?

  8.  I think its common for the half hour sitcoms to wrap in Feb, the hour long dramas usually wrap in April.

  12.  FOX is not the brightest they'll probably get rid of Raising Hope and put some other reality show in its place.  FOX should have kept Chicago Code but they left that fall by the waist side.  I wouldn't be surprised if they release raising hope
