According to a tweet from star Garret Dillahunt, filming has wrapped on the second season of Fox's wacky comedy "Raising Hope".
The sophomore laffer now has eight episodes left in the can, seven of which will air in its new time period (Tuesdays at 8:00 PM) starting March 6, as part of a new comedy block.
PS: Perhaps this means Martha Plimpton will be free to return to CBS' "The Good Wife" for another excellent cameo?
That's it for season 2 of @RaisingHopeFOX. Enjoy watching! Tell your friends! And see you for season 3.Bouncin! twitter.com/GarretDillahun…

It's moving to Tuesdays at 8:00?
ReplyDeleteDamn it, why is my Tuesday schedule so busy? It's like another Thursday!
is that normal to wrapping up so soon? Arent season usually wrapped in April.
ReplyDelete"See you for season 3"
ReplyDeleteI mean I hope but I wouldn't count on it.
I was thinking that too! It does seem rather early.
ReplyDeleteGiven the difficulty networks have had launching successful new comedies in recent years, and the fact that "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" is a sure goner, I would say Fox had better stick to what they have, it's as close to a hit as they'll get. Albeit a dismal performer ratings-wise, "Raising Hope" is a critics favorite, and that's gotta count for something. Hey, they did keep "Fringe" going, right?
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for season three! Its such a clever show and very funny.
ReplyDeleteCommunity just wrapped filming, so it's not that uncommon.
ReplyDeleteI think its common for the half hour sitcoms to wrap in Feb, the hour long dramas usually wrap in April.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree! I hope Martha can jet over to The Good Wife for another ep. I freakin' love her on that show.
ReplyDeleteoh ok that would make sense. i suppose. lol thx
ReplyDeleteIts been a long time since i laughed this hard see ya next season...
ReplyDeleteFOX is not the brightest they'll probably get rid of Raising Hope and put some other reality show in its place. FOX should have kept Chicago Code but they left that fall by the waist side. I wouldn't be surprised if they release raising hope
ReplyDeleteWell he seems fairly optimistic about another season hope we get one!
ReplyDeleteSo soon? Huh...
ReplyDeleteAlso I completely endorse the Martha Plimpton Good Wife idea!!!
