    wow really great i liked how damon and rebekah ended up in bed lol! And common we get the originals back mainly elijah and rebekah and now because of elena they are bound to die when klaus dies! unfair!!!!! keep elijah and rebekah alive. and by the looks of the next episode im guessing rebekah wants revenge still and elijah....he looks like he found out elena betrayed him...again..

    Wow, and the twists keep a comin... gotta love the pacing on this show. I hope that somehow Elijah gets spared (and rebekah too) although it would be hard to imagine how things will be if Klaus is gone as they will need another Big Bad, but the writers haven't disappointed yet. Everyone looked great, and the end scene with Damon and Rebekah was pretty darn hot. Ok, Kol is a looney tunes, but it seems like he might be a little too overfond of Rebekah in an odd way....

    Did anyone else think If the plan works all Vampires might be In danger since they come from Originals.
    This plan will go wrong.If Klaus Is killed off this season It won't be till season final or next to last episode.I don't see why It would take so long to do this If something doesn't go wrong.

    If Klaus goes at end of season maybe they would have a witch big bad next.

    The ending was awesome loved seeing Damon with Rebekah since it seems that Stephen Elena are going to end up back with each other. I Rather see her and Damon but whatever. Also i really hope Klaus finds away to stay alive he is the perfect bad guy...

    I'm so mad, i'm hurt, my delena heart is crushed, that whole ending just made me real sad, that conversation between Elena and Stefan, I wasn't even mad, just depressed about it. Then with Damon and Rebekah, eh, yeah hot scene w/e, but it just made me more depressed, now i'm not saying i'm gonna give up on my couple, I would NEVER do that, or have doubt, but after this, I hope Elena finds out about Damon and Rebekah, and actually feels hurt by it. Just as an eye opener....Ok, let me move on......I KNEW Esther was a bad ass!!! I didn't think Elena would lie to Elijah but she did, and I can't believe i'm saying this but Stefan was right, they ALL need to go, (I'll miss u Rebekah) Kol is fun, I like him, he's an asshole though. Lol, felt bad for Matt, Damon actually saved him willingly, didn't think i'd see the day. And idc if i'm the minority here but I DID NOT like seeing Klaus hitting on Caroline, yea I guess it was cute, but I wasn't think cute at all, I was thinking, WTF, leave her alone!!!! And i'm glad Caroline stood her ground and told him off, (i did like that picture he drew of her) and when he said "I fancy you" well actually I liked that, he was so blunt, it was hot, haha. BUT THAT'S IT!! Everything else, nope nope nope, and I felt bad for Caroline when she left Tyler a message over the phone. The waltz was nice, but I really wanted Delena to have a longer dance, with more conversation, sigh....but I liked the song they all danced to, gonna have to put that song on my ipod, overall I really liked the episode, need to watch it again, and wtf TOO MANY COMMERCIALS 2NITE!!! I can't wait to see the extended promo for next week, and I will stay up til 3am to watch it!!

    It's so sad. I wanted Elena to love Damon, but .... Poor cool guy , he just wanted to be happy and loved by her. Repeating past with little differences . Can he survive a new heart crash. Wow strong will. Sad story...

    I hate the Kill all the Originals at once idea.  It seems original racist.  Doesn't Esther realize that her children are individuals who should not be judged by the actions of her other children?  Yes, making her children vampires was wrong, but does killing all of them fix that?  The vampire race will still be at large.  The Originals are good at compelling, so they don't have to kill, and they're very family oriented and Mommy's boys and girls.  When she said "No Violence at my pretty party" everyone complied except Kol, and Kol is apparently so much of a weakling that a vampire like Damon, who is a baby in comparison, can take him out.  Just lock the boy in the basement with a mirror  and all six seasons of Mad Men if he gets out of hand.

    Well.  I got nothing!  In terms of guessing where we're headed I mean.  One of the things I like about Elena is that she's not the cliche ingenue.   She doesn't dash into trouble expecting the big strong protector to come to her rescue.  Nope.  She gets his brother to snap his neck so she can take care of business.  

    When Kol whined that he wanted kill something my first thought was... geeze Esther and Mikael must've been awesome parents!  wow.

    Liked Caroline with Klaus.  Mostly because it brought out her strength; the characteristic that I most love in that character.  But really, these guys need Willow's un-invitation spell.  :-)

    It is nice to know we can count on one thing with Damon.  When his feelings get hurt he'll act out.  Granted Kol started it by attacking Matt, but... hee hee.

     I actually kinda like Esther. I don't know if I think she's a good guy or not.  I was really surprised that she was telling the truth about the linking spell.  Kind of surprised that after spending a thousand years staked that Finn would be ready do die.

    Great episode.

    I wasn't completely sure I was following her plan correctly.  I think she said the 'kill the all' approach was the only way to Klaus.  Is that what you got out of what she said?

    And that she *has* to kill them all because she's in mega nature/witch trouble for making them in the first place.  The vibe I got was that she's not just correcting a wrong...she's out for herself.  She's in mega trouble with nature/the witches for making them in the first place and this is the only way she can save herself (or maybe just stay alive)?Also, I doubt very seriously the plan will work.  Someone is going to find a way out of this one too.  I bet a nickel on it.  :-)

    Awesome episode. I always really like Damon, but man, Klaus is the best. I loved his scenes with Caroline. She is not afraid to say it like it is and he likes her for it. I hope we will see those two going somewere.

    Damon and Elena´s scenes were also great. 

    I haven´t really decided if I like Esther or not. But I sure hope she doesn´t kill Klaus.

    this episode was wooow a blast mom original kill all her family she included to fix a big mistake and restore nature balance totally unexpected and sad,elena talking to damon like he was nothing,she doesnt care  about his feelings was very cruel i am glad he dischard his frustations,anger sleeping with rebekah both are caught in a mess ,all peolpe judging,with tie hands is ok for both release that and have fun.

    I don't understand why everyone want Elena and Damon to be together?? Did we all forget how bad he was when he first started on the show??? I just because he spent a few months trying to be good he should get the girl in the end, when Stephan was trying before he even met Elena.  I REALLY want Elena and Stephan to be together and Damon needs to back off he cant just decide that being good means I get what I want.  Oh and p.s why does Elena screw things up all the time????  what i wouldn't give to have two hot guys always trying to protect me :)  plus why does she always think she knows better than someone who has lived hundres of more years than her.  on a side note i wish lexi was still around i liked her!

    That's a great theory! I thought that Esther wasn't explaining everything about the ritual but didn't think in THAT. Elena was quite stupid to not make more questions, she gave her her blood too easily!!! So I think, by the end of the season Esther will be the big bad guy and the originals will seem as neutrals, like it happened with Katherine in the first season!   (I hope it happens like that, my mind is trying to find ways to keep the originals siblings alive, specially Klaus!)

    Wow, Elena.. are you just giving away your blood for rituals before knowing what they entail these days?  Klaus does nothing but make me smile these days - I know he's a manipulative bastard that can't be trusted, but who knew I'd come to like the guy so much?  Though I think Kol might be a little crazycakes.  And I definitely saw Damon and Rebekah coming.  Poor Damon, though - he drops the L-bomb on Elena and kinda gets his heart crushed.

    Yeah, Damon was kind of a baddie at the beginning.  But remember the entire beginning of this season?  Until like.. 2 episodes ago?  Stefan went darkside, too.  They're both capable of it, and they've both had experience trying to fight it.  I don't think it's that horrible that it took Elena to make Damon change - it had to start somewhere.

    I loved this episode. But I'm very p.o.
     
    Elena screwed it up!! I mean Damon. He told her he loved her and she … Like she drew a stake through his heart. How can she still love Stefan? After what he did? I don't mean that he almost killed der. That was Klaus. He left her. He was free. And instead of going back to her, he leaves.
    And Damon!!! Seriously? Becca? The Becca that just tried to kill Elena. But I forgive him. This is just his nature. He gets pissed, he gets drunk, he makes something stupid. Like killing someone or sleeping with the enemy.
    I just love this show.

    I can't say I'm mad at Damon. For sleeping with Becca. To react like this is just his nature. Remember S1. When he finds out, Katerina was never in the tomb, never loved him. Remember him after Rose dies. Or Andy. Or Elenas rejections (every one of it).
    I could kill Elena. After what she did to get Stefan free from Klaus. He is free and he leaves town. Without even saying goodbye, or sorry, or anything. And now she wants him back? What is wrong with Damon? He loves her. She loves him (she just doesn't have the balls to admit it).
    You bet Elena will find out about Damon and Becca. Bacca will tell. As payback. Or Stefan. Probably hoping she would hate Damon for that.
    I like Elijah and Becca too. But Stefan is right. Collateral damage. Klaus is too dangerous (and a psychopath). Beside: they are not actually innocent. Becca tried to kill Elena. And Matt. And she was a bitch (I love Claire in this part). I understand she is p.o. for the dagger in the beck. But did she even tried to understand Elena? No. And Elijah. In S2 he promised Elena to protect her family and friends if she helps him kill Klaus. What happened? He let Klaus get Jenna, turn her and kill her. That is not protection! And he didn't kill Klaus when he had the chance. For what? His family? Why do we have witches? A powerful witch could use a spell to locate them.
    Klaus and Caroline? I got sick when I saw that. I mean seriously. First, he wants Tyler to kill her, now he is hitting on her? This guy really needs therapy. And since when can he behave? They never mentioned that he is so talented. And now what? They want us to pray for his survival? They want us to cry when he dies? Am I the only one who will and cannot forget all he did?

    I don't this so. And I don't think They will all die. As soon, as one of the "kids" finds out, what mommy has planned, they will kill her. Again.
    Besides: this is TVD. Rule no.1: Plans never work as they should. Something always goes wrong. Oh no, that is rule no.2. Rule no.1 is: Someone has to die. In every episode (o.k., more like 98%)
    But it is a good question: What happens to the other vampires, if the originals die? Do they all die? How? Burst into flames? Do they end up as dust a'la Buffy? Or do they just drop dead? Could some of them become humans again? Those, ho were turned just recently (like Caroline?). I doubt it. I mean to be turned you have to die. So technically vampires are just corpses still moving around.

    I got that the kill all approach including Klaus was the angle she was playing in order to get Elena to agree.  Elena wants Klaus dead, and is more likely to be gung ho for a plan if that is the end result, but I don't necessarily think that Klaus's death is Esther's goal as much as "Kill all" is.  If that makes sense.  She really emphasized that she wanted to undo the upset in the balance of nature that she caused in order to make her children vampires in the first place, and I really agree with all that you said about her being completely out for herself and not them in this scenario.

    I wouldn't take that bet.  I may need the nickel! ;3

    I actually wouldn't be too surprised if the writers decided to go for a reveal like this.  It would be a very easy way for the writers to have Elena to immediately switch from Team Esther to Team Klaus, since Damon and Stefan are her two true loves, and frankly I think the writers like Klaus much better as a character than Mommy Dearest.

    I'd actually define the rules a bit differently.

    Rule 1: When in doubt kill Alaric
    Rule 2: If you have recently killed Alaric, try switching Elena for Katherine.
    Rule 3: If you have recently killed Alaric, and switched Elena for Katherine, kill Jeremy's love interest, or kill Alaric's.
    Rule 4: If Jeremy's love interest is unavailable, and Alaric's is dead, kill Jeremy.
    Rule 5: If Jeremy has been compelled to leave town, have Damon throw someone off of something or bite a crying girl during one of his temper tantrums.
    Rule 6: By this time, Elena should have something she has to forgive.
    Rule 7: Don't let her take too long, then go back to killing Alaric.

    It piss me off that nobody (minus Matt) was concerned about Caroline "enjoying"  the ball with Klaus (The Killer sociopath thats currently their enemy). If it would be Elena instead, We would have 20 minutes of the Salvatores brothers complaining about her stupid idea of accepting his invitation and the possible danger in it. Couldn't the Salvatores care about their friends too, not jus Elena? I don't ask for a long scene, just Damon frowning when Rebekah told him that Klaus bought Caroline the dress and the bracelet.

    Rebekah is pissed off and she has every right to be because Elena literally stabbed her in the back. Elena might have had her reasons, and Rebekah can and should try to understand them, but she does not need to try to understand them! Betrayal is betrayal.

    People love to bring up how Elijah betrayed Elena - fine. But then also recall how Elena betrayed Elijah first. It's not Elijah's fault that Jenna died. That's on Damon. If he hadn't freed Caroline and Tyler, Jenna wouldn't have been used in the sacrifice. Not saying that Damon did anything wrong or that Elijah didn't do anything wrong, but at least keep your facts straight.

    LOL, what friends? The Salvatores always only care about Elena. Stefan tried to care a little because Elena cared, but then he turned to the dark side and couldn't care less if Jeremy died. Damon has never given a shit about Elena's friends. He doesn't even care much for his BFF Alaric since he felt that it was okay to kill him because he was in a bad mood. Of course, Alaric IS Damon's bitch so he quickly forgave him and all's well.

    Well, maybe you have a point. I don't know, by this time in the show I expected Damon to show his humanity not just for Elena and Alaric but at least for Caroline too (He saved her after all two times in Season 2 and Caroline saved them from his own mother when Mason told Liz about the salvatores) I know this was ALL about Elena in the salvatores part, but I am tired of the" ALL about Elena" thats so recurring in TVD and  I expected some of typical Damon: "I don't care (really, I care, but I hope you can't see it)"
