    The episode was great, but please tell me Alaric is really ok, his ring didn't work properly the last time.
    I was eating and after I saw him dying I swear I lost my appetite. I just wanted to see him well again. HE CAN NOT DIE!!!

    holy crap thats a lot to take in! Tatia is the original petrova which means elena's original great great great......times a bunch great grandma! and klaus and elijah knew her and loved her lol. Elijah vs klaus fight was fun i did not expect for the twins and rebekah to wake up in the same episode that was good and rebekah's going to be wanting some doppleganger deadness going on next episode. MOM WAS IN THE COFFIN LOL DIDNT SEE THAT! also im kinda sad she didnt come for revenge but the writers know what they are doing so...GREAT EPISODE ELIJAH WAS GREAT and a great return. i wonder how long these originals will last this time.

    I really liked this episode....The table talk, the friendship scenes with Matt, Caroline, and Elena, the talk of Klaus and Elijah's history with the Original Petrova, Tartia( if that's how they spell her name, we don't know yet, lol) Glad to get a name, btw...and omg that ending killed me!!! Heart stopped!!! SIX OF THEM!!!!! And i'm glad Bill didn't stick around, yea I felt really bad for Caroline, but I wouldn't have liked him as a vamp, nor can I picture him as one, and who the hell is this stabbing person?!?!? It's pissing me off!!! (It's a rhetorical question i really don't wanna know for those of you who like reading spoilers) Stefan was really pissing me off, but i shrugged it off, Klaus was so right to what he said to him, I said Here here!!! LOL. Dangerous Liaisons!!! Can't wait, GIVE ME MY DELENA DANCE!!!

    I bet the one who tries to kill all those people is Jeremy. The Compulsion probably messed with him. And OMG all the Originals save the Dad are together. I wonder if his siblings will forgive Klaus now that they know that he didn't kill their mother. He probably locked her in the coffin because she is a witch and can't be turned into a Vampire and he doesn't want her to die because of old age. Its my opinion... I could be wrong of course.

    Waay awesome ep! Gotta say that I did guess before that it was Mommy in the last casket some time ago, but it makes you wonder who could've performed the bloodline spell that sealed the casket in the first place as it couldn't have been that long ago as the casket was pretty modern looking. Anyway, as usual the show delivered on forwarding the storylines at light speed and closed some doors whilst kicking some new ones open.... But even with all the awsomeness going on, the bits that stood out the most for me was the quieter ones of Caroline facing the losing of her father - the scenes with her on the stoop talking with Elena and then with her father in the bedroom were absolutely heartbreaking and for me, Candice knocked it out of the park tonight.....

    Alaric always dies. I love it. As long as he always comes back, of course. All the Alaric/Elena scenes were wonderful. I enjoy their relationship. He fits in the show better now that Jenna is gone. Sad to say.

    I kind of hope this killer doesn't turn out to be some random doing someone else's bidding. Time will tell, I guess.

    Loved getting some background on the original Petrova. Been wondering about that for some time. Kind of interesting her blood is connected to spell that created vampires too.

    Caroline is amazing and she makes me cry so easily. :P

    I know a lot of people thinks the show is too heavily slanted on the central love triangle, but I think the show has really embraced the friendships lately. There's been a ton of great simple scenes between Elena and various friends. The triangle affects the brothers more than it does Elena, I think. She seems to want to deny them both because it she feels it is the right thing to do. (Not that she won't give in at some point, of course.)

    God, this show is getting lamer and lamer with every second it's on. Any plot development or something original and new to the series? They're always at parties and in danger and meeting old enemies, who I am already bored with OR some EXTREMELY important character from the past, of whom despite his vital part in the story, we haven't heard yet...

    Absolutely LOVED it!! I'm so happy Rebekah is back and the new Originals are there!!

    I'd like to go full Edna Mode on Caroline right now just to shake some sense into that pretty but at ridiculous little head of hers. How dare she accuse Tyler of murder? And i DON'T care about the non reply to the messages atm he's fighting and to me that's all that matters Ty's my baby and the questioning and suspicion against him this season has my blood boiling in protective defense!

    I figured it all along, no big surprise. The only thing I mildly liked was the doppelganger talk and how Klaus and Elijah both had feelings for the original (and Elijah had feelings for Katherine as well). It's kind of lame that the mom made them drink her blood to transition. All I kept thinking through whole episode is I really don't care about the Originals anymore, can we please move on.

    Loved it!!! I guessed it was the original witch in the coffin so it wasn't a major shocker!! Dying to know who's killing everyone though!!! And I love that Daniel Gilles is back and with a hot haircut too!!! So excited for the rest of the season!!! :) !!!

    SO sad to see Daddy Forbes go.. the scene at the end with Caroline broke my heart.  And Alaric can't be dead, can he?!  I loved the dinner with Klaus, Elijah, Damon, and Stefan, though - so chock full of awkward.. well, until it descended into violence as expected.  And SO cool to see the Original family back.. all of them!  Things are going to get interesting...

    After all they've been through with Tyler since Klaus sired him, I don't think it's an unreasonable jump for Caroline to make - yes, he's trying to fight, but it's not going to happen overnight, and he's bound to trip up every now and then.  That being said, I don't think it WAS Tyler - but he has kind of gone off the reservation this season.

    Honey? Jeremy is human (or was when we last saw him). He wouldn't be able to kill without being seen.My money is on Tyler. Klaus figured out about his attempt to get free from him. So he makes him kill. And makes him look like it's Elena, Alaric and the others.

    Great ep.  Glad that Bonnie's mom finally showed some signs of guilt over what she did to Bonnie.  The dinner discussion was frequently interesting and/or fun.  Klaus the brat was on display, especially when he decided to irritate Elijah by bringing up Tatia.  (Way for Mom to settle that argument.  There are moments when I feel like I'm seeing a whole to side to the definition of dysfunctional.)  I was thrilled that they dispensed with the idea that Klaus' siblings would calmly let what Klaus did to them slide.  Loved that, all too brief, fight between Klaus and Elijah, but I was way happier that the other three sibs went after Klaus with daggers.  Oh and leaving him on his own. EXCELLENT punishment...which of course led to Klaus the brat... 'If you leave me I will hunt you down!'


    Klaus' reaction to his mom's appearance.  Classic.  Perfect.  "Look at me!"   The only thing that jarred me out of the episode was seeing Moms and all her Original kids in the same room.  That actress looks way too young to be the mother to the actors playing her kids.As for the murder mystery I've been thinking it out:It seems pretty certain that the targets are members of the founding families that are on the town council.  Whoever this is has to have really current information because they knew Ric  is on the council (Ric's not blood related to the founding families so it wouldn't be an assumption someone not in the know would make.) My cousin's first theory was that Jeremy is the killer.  I don't think so.  He may have learned that members of the founding families were on the council but I don't know why he would know specifically who was on the actual council.  From what we've seen the council meeting have been held under cover of other town events.  I don't see him having that information.   Plus I can't buy him going after Ric.  The killer didn't know Caroline's father had vampire blood in his system (another point to let Meg off the hook.)  {Also, very appropriate exit for that character.  I was pleased they remembered he'd been living with someone when we first heard about him.}   And I doubt the killer knew about Ric's ring let alone understands how it works.   I can't remember if Ric included the  phrase 'supernatural killer' when he was telling Meg about the ring.  But if Meg had stabbed him she would have taken the ring off to be on the safe side.  Does anyone else remember Ric mentioned the 'supernatural killer' rule to Meg?That said...I've got no clue who else to consider as a suspect.  Tyler's Mom?  But that's just pulling a name out of thin air.It seems like the only thing we know for sure at this  point is that the killer is *human, *knows exactly who is on the council, and knows a lot about the *Gilbert family.   And as I typed that it occurs to me... It could be Jeremy...if his head has been mucked about with thoroughly.  It would certainly fit in with the 'lets put Elena is major emotional turmoil' motif the show likes to play with.  Or!   Jeremy may have been grabbed before he got to Colorado...and is being used for  information?  That would be fun.

    I thought this was miles better than last weeks episode.  I loved seeing Damon and Stefan and Elijah and Klaus having dinner together in true dignified snark manner.  For a moment I thought Elijah had ceased to be awesome when it was looking like he fell for Klaus again, but luckily it turned out I shouldn't have doubted.  I love Elijah's haircut.  Klaus's reaction when all of his family came at him was priceless.  Especially when he saw Kol.  I really wonder what Klaus did to that boy.  I really wish that the mother hadn't turned up quite so soon.  I really wanted to see Klaus cry when his whole family left without him.

      I think the bloody hands was the scariest thing I've seen on the show so far.  Of course, Alaric had to be killed and revived.  Mysterious Murderer AND Elena both may now have to join Alaric Killers Anonymous. 

    "My name is Damon, and it has been three months since I last killed Alaric...."

    I think if they ever did actually kill Alaric for real, I wouldn't believe it.  I wouldn't even believe it.

    I felt very sad for Caroline, but kind of glad that Bill chose to die.  It would be weird if he became a vampire.  I thought it was rotten of Elena to make Matt stay with her and wait for Kenny rather than go to Caroline whose actual father had actually died.  It was also rotten of Elena to give Caroline that speech about "choices" being all a person has, when she just took her brothers free will away.  Overall, my only complaint with this episode is really that it had too much Elena when she wasn't needed, and when lately she's been more of an E-lame-a.

     Awesome!!!!!! I don't know how they do it, but it gets better and better. For a second there i thought Elijah would believe Klaus again! I'm glad he didn't... And mom original is back, let's see what she's gonna do.
    I miss Katherine though, i wish they'd bring her back.

     the Originals  and it's not like that in the book ,not that i except them to follow it cause there not with true blood .But where's all the action and yes i like love and romance ,but it need to be mixed .Eljah is cool lol though.But yeh need it to move on xx

     A great but frustrating episode.
     - Having the entire Original family in town is going to make everyone miserable.  Me too, probably.
     - Once again, we get into the second half of the season and everything comes back to Elena and her blood.  I don't appreciate the repeat of last's season's Elena connection.
     - Who the f*ck keeps trying to kill council members?  This story is more interesting to me than all the Original bullsh*t.  Except for Rebekah, they can all die.
     - Poor Elena and Caroline.  Their personal lives are horrendous this season.  They've been through a lot.
     - Bonnie's mom is hiding something.  No surprise there.
     - Esther might want to get herself a change of clothes before she goes out.  :)
     - I hate to admit it but I cringe every time I see Matt these days.  I do not enjoy his appearances.
