    not surprised Ivy got the park..she has the look, the voice she appears to be Marilyn.  However, i feel like this choice will backfire, to keep it dramatic.  Maybe Karen will be the understudy.

    Thought it was an awesome ep, and not really surprised that Ivy got the part (for now as I understand that there is always the chance that you can be replaced from a recent interview that Megan H did, plus Uma Thurman is supposed to be creating some tension to that point when her role comes into play) Everything is great, but the only character that seems useless and annoying (at least for now) to me is the assistant to Tom the writer but hopefully that will change as the show goes on.

    I don't like the assistant at all. I kind of hope he disappears (I know he doesn't, but it would sure be nice).

    I love this show. It's interesting, has wonderful music, great musical performances, very good actors, singers and dancers. The characters feel real. On top of that it has Jack Davenport who is awesome, plus he looks really great in this.;-) The only thing I don't like is the snoopy assistant.

    I was on "Team Ivy", but switched to Karen's side during this episode, only for it to end like that. I think Ivy's right for the part, but I think she was much more likeable in the first episode. Wonder how Karen will stick around, most likely be offered a small part/chorus.

    There are some aspects of the show I really like, I think the songs for the musicial are great, I really like Ivy and Tom as well

    But certain storylines need to be swept under the carpet and fast. The adoption plot is just boring and stupid and seriously as if their son would be like wah wah I really want a baby sister. So unrealistic!

    I was NOT expecting Ivy to get the part, since they'd made such a big deal out of K.McPhee being there and all.. It was really great.

    I really enjoyed this episode I thought it was a good follow up episode and I knew Ivy was going to get the part but I think there will be some problems causing her to back out from the part. I want Karen to get the part but Ivy is my favorite character so of course I want to see her succeed  and maybe get another part in the play. I love the B plots in the episode with the adoption storyline and the battle of the divorcees.
