  1. Liked this ep possibly more than the pilot. Very intense and well done with the camera works, although I did get frustrated when the trio who were looking for the tree just after narrowly escaping the natives were making an awful lot of noise that would've easily led the natives back to them. The sequence where the claustrophobic cameraman was forced to crawl into a tight cave to get the bulbs that they were looking for was very intense. Still confused as to why the natives let them go/rescued them and deemed them "worthy to proceed".... but very good ep.

  2. I love that when Clark makes stupid suggestions..."we don't know for sure the people who cut that guy's eyes out are here...let's keep going"  everyone ignores him.  :-)  Though stupid move of the evening goes to the camera man for wandering around alone picking up cameras.  Dude!  You know you're being stalked!

Given the way I typically watch tv and movies...I'm still surprised at how effective this show is for me.  They're doing a good job of building the intensity and suspense.  I am all into this and it's unusual for me.

I hit the scene where the group looking for the Sandido tree  are hiding and these giant leech looking things are crawling all over them and I'm screaming WHY THE F**K WOULD ANYONE BE RUNNING AROUND IN THE FREAKING AMAZON....VOLUNTARILY!?!?!?!?!

I'm starting to think these guys are looking for heroes...oh...the stories were literal.   Selfless acts.   Literally.  Cool.

Oh, but I feel bad for the cameraman dude....being buried alive.  I did laugh with him when he stumbled across the tree.  But I don't think this episode is getting him underground again.  :-)  And that extreme string of profanity...priceless!

"I'm praying"    what is up with the Kurt!?!?!?

  3. I believe those were millipedes, not leeches.  Not that that would change your opinion of being in the Amazon.

  5. Just watched and I loved it! The bugs were creepy, and the cameraman mentioned David. Boyfriend?

    Can't wait for next week.

  6. This is how I interpreted the natives thing: The natives let them go because they deemed them unselfish, Clark was ready to sacrifice himself for the rest of the group and A.J. went under the tree facing his fear of caves to get a cure for the others when he could have just ran away and saved himself. I think this show is great and this week improved even more on the intensity and the creepiness in the pilot.

  8. Good show last night..............spot on Steff. Remember the natives were judging. By the end of the episode 2 men were sacrificial and repenting. The natives listened and backed away and also pulled the camera man out from under the tree. Remember the drawings were eyes..............maybe meant they were being watched and judged, Very good episode. I really like this show. The string of profanity was a riot I could relate to him at that point....."damn caves" LOL...............and Clark finally showed signs of humanity..........very very good.
