Well, things didn't turn out how I expect them. (Except for Catherine being on it. I called that before the reveal. What a horrible mother.)
And I'm so confused as to why Siobhan blamed Bridget and why both blamed Dylan. Yeah, Dylan convinced Siobhan to take Sean out, but the blame ultimately lies on the other driver. It was his fault, not Dylan's, not Bridget's. And when Bridget/Siobhan gave him forgiveness, I felt so bad for him with the crying.
I think I'm giving up on this show. I've been losing more and more interest as the weeks go by. May watch next week for the wedding thing, though, since I love Bridget/Andrew.
I figured it out last week the that Kathryn was in on the Con and I would not be surprised if she was behind the trampy girl's (I don't bother remembering names) being beat nearly to death and robbed.
I'm giving up on the show now, I only watched to learn about how Siobhan's son died and I'm relieved that Bridget didn't kill him because she inattentive or drunk or high. I did not tune in for MC; "Dylan" could have been played by any actor. MC looks too much like "Henry" - I don't like when TV shows do that particularly since the real Siobhan still blames Dylan (and Bridget) for Sean's death and I doubt that she would deliberately seek out the "same type".
I was certain that Juliette was talking to Siobhan...and it was her mom. I didn't think the woman was that smart. But cold enough to have Tessa beaten robbed. Yeah.
Misha Collins was great. Really glad Bridget wasn't using when Sean died.
Did I get my sense of time mixed up. Why didn't we get to see Malcom check out Henry's place?
My impression about Siobhan's logic was she hated Bridget for not doing as she was told. If Bridget had not let Sean go with Dylan he wouldn't have been killed. If Dylan had stayed away Sean wouldn't have been killed.
I thought SMG really knocked it out of the park with this episode. That scene in the graveyard with Siobhan and Bridget, where Bridget's crying and Shiobhan just has dead eyes totally blew me away.
I thought the backstory was really good, and really built up Shiv and Bridget's characters UP UNTIL the actually crash, because it was an accident, it was (slightly) more Dylan's fault than Bridget's, and neither Bridget nor Dylan were truly at fault in the accident itself.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is that the backstory lacked that extra "umph" to make me believe that Bridget is on a true path of redemption and Siobhan is THAT freakin' crazy about revenge (because we never saw her interact with Sean).
My guess is that there's a piece of the puzzle that we're still missing.
Wow.. a lot of things didn't play out like I thought they would last night. First, the whole Sean thing - I don't understand how the majority of the blame was somehow attributed to Dylan. The car was hit by some guy who fell asleep at the wheel.. that was in no way directly his fault, or Bridget's. In some way, I guess I could understand Siobhan's frustration because she expressly told Bridget that she didn't want Sean spending time with Dylan - so I can see how a mother would shift all of the blame to Bridget and Dylan in her grief. But Bridget? I don't understand at all how SHE blamed Dylan.. she made the decision to go out, and she KNEW that it was the other driver's fault..
And WTF? Catherine masterminded the whole plan? When we found out someone else was in on it, I suspected her, but it still surprised me.
And Misha was amazing! It was nice to see him get to use the full spectrum of human emotion and show his versatility a bit haha.. anger, happiness, sadness (seeing him tear up broke my heart!)... and he even got to be charming! Loved it.
It was great seeing Misha again. That was the highlight for me - that and hearing the Juliette might move to Florida. I wasn't impressed with the rest. I thought it was a bit of a cop out that all this guilt with Bridget is about something that wasn't really her fault. I hate it when shows chicken out in making their leads do bad things. They should take lessons from The Walking Dead (Shane feeding Otis to walkers) or Lost (almost all of the heroes had committed murder) on how to make the drama real.
I think the death of Sean is not the only reason of Bridget's guilty... The death of Siobhan's son is just the point of the beginning. Bridget feels guilty because she didn't listen Siobhan. Dylan was insisting so she said "Ok". If Bridget had listened Siobhan, Sean wouldn't die in the car. So she feels guilty because Sean is dead because of her mistake AND she feels guilty because of this tragedy, Bridget lost her sister too :)
Nope, I'll have to check it out, though! If I sat through Stonehenge Apocalypse (in which he was the ONLY redeeming factor), I'm sure I'll have no problem with something that actually has potential haha..
What I never understood was Misha played 6 parts on SPN, wins best character of 2011 and then is dropped. BTW you can vote for him in a poll here. http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/tvs-most-crushworthy-creatures-misha-collins-vs-ian-somerhalder-and-two-vampire-diaries-femme-fatale.html
I don't get it either - I thought he was such a fantastic asset, and generated a heck of a fan response. I think the producers wanted to get "back to basics", with Sam and Dean returning to the roots of the first season, but man.. I miss Misha! And thanks for the poll, btw.. I'll get voting :)
Also, which role am I missing from SPN? I've got Castiel (of course), Jimmy, "Misha", Leviathans, and Godstiel.. what was number 6?
I rented it, because I will try anything he is in, and I did not find the acting bad but the story its self was awful. I do love the very dark web series of his.
I'm getting really tired with everyone trying to steal money from Andrew. First his wife, now ex-wife and daughter. That's too much. Looks like Bridget is really the only one who cares about Andrew at all. For a moment I thought it would be Siobhan who was talking to Juliet. Backstory on characters was interesting, but I think it's just a tip of an iceberg...
omg THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING and I had forgotten Misha was in it, like I knew he was on at one point but didnt know when. I CRIED so much its embarrassing and then Misha crying omg NOT HELPING
yeah. The thing with Juliette anoys me though cause she really seems to not want to live with her mom so why... all this its weird. And lol the mom beat up the other girl DUH calling it (even if im sure lots of you did to)
JUST WOW! And gosh, Ithought "misha" had run away with the kid so I REALLY fucking cried with the car scene. like wow. WHY *CRIES*. And now I want him to come back on the show :(
oh and I dont get why bridget hated Dylan. Like I get why Shobian (I cant spell her name) hated them but... Bridget was in the car, she knows it was an accident and not even his fault. He she hadnt been in the car then yes it would have made sense but... yeha no.
Great episode, was not expecting Juliet's mom to be in on the scheme to get money so she could drink it. One thing that bugs me, didn't the florist say Siobhan ordered $100 bouquet? If thats all 100 fictional dollars buys then she needs a fictional refund!
A very interesting episode. - Juliet is very frustrating. One minute you want to be in her corner and the next you want to strangle her because you can't figure out why she does such selfish, hurtful things. - The whole Sean debacle makes me like Siobhan even less. - Misha Collins did a good job. - Bridget did a really great thing by forgiving Dylan as Siobhan. Somehow, I doubt Siobhan would agree. - So, who kicked Tessa's ass and took her cash? The teacher seemed genuinely surprised by the whole thing. - I love how Henry tried to play Malcolm but Malcolm turned it back on him.
We in the UK got this episode last night! Wow, last week I did not see Juliet being in on 'scam' and then this week her mother. Well I guessed it was either her or Siobhan... Oh and btw Misha makes the world go round :D
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
MISHA COLLINS MAKES EVERYTHING AWESOME. That was all.

does anybody knows the name of the song, at the end of episode?

Yeah, Misha's hair was really bad in that last scene where Bridget forgave him - I missed his messy angel hair!
ReplyDeleteMisha Collins makes thing better
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Misha fan, have you seen the movie Finding Home, he is so good in it.
ReplyDeleteThe two best things about this show tonight was Misha Collins, love my Angel, and Jason Dohring, my vampire and Logan. lol

You are missing one of my favorite ones, Hippie Cas. lol
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh how could I forget about that Cas?! The Cas that liked getting stoned and having orgies.. hahaha I did love that Cas... :)
ReplyDeleteHe is going to be on Lifetime Sunday in Karla and I did love the scruffy stoned Cas.
ReplyDeleteYikes.. I don't know that I'm ready for Karla.. if even HE'S sorry he made it? I don't want my image of him to be ruined haha
ReplyDeleteI rented it, because I will try anything he is in, and I did not find the acting bad but the story its self was awful. I do love the very dark web series of his.
