I didn't like the way JLC character was written unfortunately i have had some very inappropriate unprofessional therapists and it just rubs me the wrong way hat both her and Rachel are made out to be such cool people when their methods are detremental to those around them.
I thought this episode kinda sucked. I wanted to like JLC's character but I have no idea what to think of her after tonight. The Tony subplot was stupid and the main plot was overdone and confusing.
I loved the episode. I thought Jamie did a great job and I thought her character was interesting and not what I expected. She was protective of her life and her job. She had to be. I loved seeing Kate's sister Rachel again. Poor Tony, just when he wins something he loses again.
1. Maybe it was Jamies character to misdirect people or she had her breasts pushed way up. 2. Gibbs unplugged the monitors to show the no computers that can be traced, but he just unplugged the monitors, dramatic maybe but left the pcs still on. 3. They knownly push a suspect to Gibbs they know is wrong and they get into no trouble? 4. This doctor is being drugged and screwed with by stuff from the "playbook" of Syops and he can not tell? He was in the program! Hell he even had his internet screwed with. 5. They know Gibbs is into the wood working. So they hide the bug under the wood glue? Even i know that gets used a lot. It would easily been found. Plus planting a bug that interferes with his cellphone? Now that is just sloppy work.
I love JLC and I think that her and Gibbs will make for a very interesting and fun couple. She is not a young gorgeous dimwit...........she is a beautiful classy mature looking woman. She is smart and sassy and I think her strong character is what Gibbs needs. I even love the fact that she has a child...Gibbs would make an excellent role model / step dad if they move the relationship in that direction. I normally do not like when the main people on my shows hook up and the show becomes a soap opera but I put my stamp of approval on this relationship. I think the writers should move ahead. She does not have to be in every show but we should know that she is his lady! Hey when Palmer gets marries JLC should be there with Gibbs and twirl around the dance floor a few times...I would also like to see Ziva and Tony take to the floor and Abby and Mcgee..........as for Ducky...............where is that woman?? I cannot remember her name............I am sure you know who I mean.............hate when I cannot remember a name LOL
I enjoyed the episode overall, but had trouble with the Tony subplot. It makes no sense to me that Tony-a SFA would make the same amount, or less $, than McGee. And Tony going to the lengths he went to seemed mean spirited to me. What is Tony's point on this show anymore? When are they going to mature him and have him actually act like a Senior Field Agent? We see this glimpses occasionally, but they are never built on. I feel Tony being the go to for the comedy is a disservice to his character and to the actor himself.
Meh. It was okay. - The Tony subplot was pure filler and wasn't really entertaining. - Bringing back "Dr. Kate's sister", as Tony calls her, was great. I like her. - Once again, Gibbs' aversion to all things digital comes in handy. - Up until that stupid booty call at the end, I was alright with JLC's character. Now, not so much. - The assistant being the killer was obvious but I should have seen the daughter's involvement coming.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it! It was nice seeing Rachel again, because I love her. Hope she comes back!
ReplyDeleteAnd I ship Gibbs/Ryan! I hope she comes back, too.
Poor Tony! That was just wrong.

I'm not a big Jamie Lee Curtis fan, but this turn out quite nice
