Awesome. Loved the forward movement on all plots and the awesome dialogue: "A bunch of dead owls and I don't give hoot"... and (tosses bullet on Duffy) "The next one coming a bit faster"... and then the chilly face off with Mr Detroit...... good stuff
oh this show always surprises me. And I just love Raylan's little speeches. Timothy Olyphant rocks this shit. I wish everyone I knew watched this. They just don't know what they're missing.
There in a lot of really BAD people living around Harlan. Boyd has to be my favorite baddie ever - ofcourse. Can´t wait to see him in a scene with Mr. Detroit, who also seems like a very interesting fellow.
Loved Raylans "the next one is coming a bit faster" comment.
The only thing I missed in this episode was some Raylan/Boyd interaction.
Ha :-) I took me a while not to see Jeremy Davies as Daniel. Now I just love him as Dickie and haven´t thought of Daniel this season. Jeremy is doing an awesome job.
Another amazing episode, it may only be February but damn Justified is making a good case for being show of the year.
The guest stars are just the greatest, they make one of characters feel fully formed within seconds of screentime. It it simply a delight seeing the criminals every week.
Raylan was on fine form with his speeches which I love the delivery of, the southern accents are one of my favourite parts of the show.
Loved the Limehouse/Boyd bridge scene and Boyd/Devil, found it interesting him explaining his past.
I managed to covert about 5 people into the show over the last few months and once they start watching they get hooked. I am always telling people to watch it!
That's the difference between your typical procedural drama and Justified. While it has a procedural slant to it, the writers have found a way to infuse a realism and depth into its guest starring roles. Other shows could learn a thing or two from this gem, that's for sure!
I couldn't agree more. I loved that he told Wade Messer that entire childhood story about not going into someone's house without permission and it turned out he didn't mean a damn word of it.
Agreed. Every season you think "can it live up to last years great season" and every year the answer is YES. I don´t understand that this show isn´t nominated in every category.
The guest starts are amazing and have great dialogs. In others shows guest stars can annoy me because it takes so long to get to know them and then they die. On Justified I enjoy every single character. I want to see more of all of them and wish the show was 50 -60 min instead.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteFinally!! The conversation that they weren't gonna have!!
ReplyDeleteThe last minutes in the RV were intense as sh*t.
I'm pretty sure that in the season finalé there will be a stand-off between Raylan and Mr. Detroit. See which one draws faster (ofc Raylan but just for lulz I want to see that anyways)
And Jeremy Davies is always wonderful as Daniel Farad...khm...I mean Dickie Bennet. sorry for the mistake, it was justified :D
Agreed, people don´t know what they are missing!!

ReplyDeleteOh yes more shows need guest roles which are interesting and not bland like they often are, Justified has great casting director
ReplyDeleteYeah. He's a wonderful actor. I really hope he survives this season and the writers find a way to make him a main character in season 4

It definitely needs more awards love hoping this year might be the year!
ReplyDeleteI wish it was longer as well, just 5-10 extra mins of being with those characters and their wonderful way of speaking would be delightful.
Intense episode! So this is what you get when you combine topnotch writing and just out-of-this-world good acting.
ReplyDeleteBest episode of season 3 so far. It was the shit. Justified needs to win some awards ASAP
