Best episode eva *-* Like, yeah, you know. Serena never betrayed Blair. Oh and Chuck, who's SOOOOO in love with Blair, sleeps with the first girl he finds. Yep. DAIR is so perfect on so many levels.
Chair fans are so children. awesome episode for them is an episode with chair scene, even if this episode, the loved one is exchanged for a hotel hahahahaha GREAT EPISODEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE \o/
Oh, whatever. You know what? Even minus the Dair stuff, this was a good episode. Blair scheming in a nice way, the cute Derena lunch thing, Nate trying so hard to impress a girl - and a girl his own age, which is a nice change - Georgina the evil schemer, and the fun Constance callbacks ... I liked it all.
But mostly? Dair kissed. Blair kissed back, and she clearly felt something. The show is finally going there with Dair, and I'm happy.
okay worst episode ever i've stood by this show through everything but i cant watch it selfdestruct any longer GG i'll give you til the end of season 5 then i'm breaking up with you unless you give me a reason to watch e.g. Chair reunion
I am lost, did the witters forget who Blair loved? She went from loving Chuck more and more each day to kissing another man in hos room. HUH? The same woman who was running off with Chuck, who asked God for help with Chuck. Do these writers remember because I am confused..who is this Blair?
This poll is fun! People either really loved it or really hated it. Amazing! I personally loved it.
I don't get the Goodbye GG comments. I would not be interested in watching a show like this if I know how things is going to turn out all the time. I would recommend people who is not up for the uncertainty of it all to only watch finished shows. This way they can read all about it on the internet first.
The last episode of Dawson's nearly killed me, but I was SO happy i never "cheated" afterwards. I got really angry at the way Buffy ended, but I had such a good time following the show that I have watched it several times since (still getting seriously mad in the end though).
First of all, all y'all gonna vote this episode "Awful" because of the Dair kiss? OOOOOH, so everything is all Chair all the time it's awful! Whatever. And this is coming from someone who is predominately a chair shipper, but okay. Anyway, didn't care about any of that. I was mostly excited that Ivy and Charlie met and that THEY KNEW EACH OTHER! That was an interesting turn of events. And that Charlie found out about Ivy being her for that last few months AND Ivy taking care of/becoming close with CeCe. AWWW! but that answers the question of who's going to die.
And have any of you Chair shippers thought that maybe this whole Dan thing will get Blair to realize in the end that she only wants Chuck and Dan will stopping being all pathetic lovesick for Blair? I trust that the writers know what they are doing. I've never hated a storyline that they have done.
im not going stop watching just cause of dair even though it did make me feel sick not cause they kissed but look on serenas face was heartbreaking :( but i am going stop watching for a whilee.. this season has been boring and to be honest they shouldnt get another season there ratings are awful almost every show beats them + if they do it should be 13 eps like one tree hill! which ratings are beating gossip girl this season!
"cheating the polls" oh the paranoia, could you maybe consider that most people are not all that excited about Dair and thought the episode sucked? and that the polls are an accurate reflection of that fact? because that's what happened, might as well accept it.
yeah you wish its cause the majority of fans hated the episode cause the majority of fans are chair fans and if where cheating how do you explain the youtube videos for next weeks trailers getting more dislikes then likes you cant cheat that cause youtube only allows one vote a video per account face it the majority of fans dont want Dair
well according to safran who blair chooses in 5.24 will stick til the end and will be blairs endgame so if she is with dan by the end of 5.24 that means Dair is Endgame which i can see happening now
People who keep saying goodbye GG can go ahead and stop watching. If even half the Chair fans who rate an episode up or down based on how much Chair is actually in the episode left, then there would be A LOT less whining.
You're perfectly free to stop watching a show, or dislike the direction it's going in. But I'm just as free to be happy you're gone. Less whining is always welcome.
As for Serena, I have absolutely no pity for her. She has been yanking Dan around since the first season. 90% of men would have abandoned their feelings for her a LONG time ago. He's pretty much bent over backwards to try and make her happy. If she expected him to wait forever for her to grow up, that's greedy as hell.
And as for the Dair, I'm cool with it. I'm interested to see where it leads, and what kind of relationship they could actually have. I don't expect it to survive the season, because come on how many relationships on GG actually do?
For the first time EVER, and yes I'm being serious, I actually feel bad for Chuck. He's in a crappy situation and I feel for the guy. Every bad situation he's been in before was largely brought about by his own terrible decisions, so I rarely had pity for the guy, but things are working against him right now.
Nonetheless, I really hope some of you people who are threatening to stop watching actually follow through. It might make things a little more pleasant around here.
You need to calm down. Idk when or if he actually said that, but I doubt it'll be Dan. They have always said "Chuck and Blair are never over." I seriously beyond doubt that Dair is endgame.
I LOVED the Constance callbacks: Serena's school uniform, Nate's school uniform and being drunk, the will.i.am song "I Got It From My Mama" playing at the party. I remember that song from Blair and Serena's fight in EARLY season, so that was a nice callback to early Gossip Girl, especially before everything became all Chair and Dair all the time.
I LOVE where this Ivy storyline is going, and it's only getting better. It's my favorite thing about this season. I wonder if she'll be back for season 6 (don't jinx it lol).
cant even believe dair happned already, ive been waiting for this like a year. hope this last! fairytale ending = blair choosing dan over their wealth ^_^
I wish I could trust the writers, but they've made Blair pretty much unrecognizable at this point. I never thought she would behave as badly as she did in this episode- I mean, in Chuck's bedroom? Really, Blair? I just want her to end up alone at this point, honestly.
I thought it was a great episode mainly thanks to the Dair scenes as well as the Charlie/Ivy scenes. Hopefully with Charlie in the picture, we'll start to see more of Nate. I truly feel bad for Chuck, especially after Blair's declarations of love to him, but I guess it is possible for her to love two people. Blair and Dan make such a good pair that I hope they continue to develop this relationship. It just epitomizes the kind of relationship most of us would like in real life. What I love about Dair is that it gradually developed from friendship and brings out the best in both characters. We see a more mature and self-assured side of Blair whenever she was around Dan and we get to see a more selfless and non-jugdmental Dan when he's around Blair. The two actors are also brilliant and I love how they're able to make any small gesture speak volumes. It reminds me of my other favorite couple Mary and Matthew on Downton Abbey. I admit that Chair was one of the best parts of the first 3 seasons, but I would still love to see Dan and Blair end up together in the end. I just hope that this doesn't lead to Chuck's undoing, since he was making so much progress.
You all stuck with GG when Chuck whored out Blair, but when she kisses other guy (who is so much better for her anyway) you suddenly want to stop watching it? Well, go ahead! Noone is stopping you! Ph, and I guess it`s ok for Chuck to sleep with random girls (or not so random..remember Jenny?) but Blair is supposed to celibate? Wow, just wow!
I just see so much anger. Just saying, I'm not one of them. This episode was nice for this Dair shipper. Although, I see this tv series ending the way the books did, S and B together. Haha.
The episode was awful, not because of the "Dair", but because it has set up the rest of this half of the season to be completely irrelevant, and seriously lacking in continuity. The Blair/Serena relationship is facing a huge obstacle, and with all the romantic issues, was it really neccessary to include an obstacle in the show's strongest friendship, too?
I know the writers probably think they're doing something "fun and exciting" with Dair, but from a completely unbiased perspective, it is clear to me that by introducing the couple this late into the series, they are ruining pretty much all of Blair's romantic relationships, as well as the character.
Chair fans are obviously annoyed that Blair said she only wanted Chuck, but then kissed and married two other men. (And if they try to insist that Blair is reconsidering her feelings for him in the next episode, the writers really are out of their mind.) The few people who actually liked Blair/Louis together, should be angry that the writers turned a true Prince Charming into an asshole.
What I don't understand is why Dair fans are so happy. Do you they really think this is going to last? A couple coming together this early in the season does not stay together. If they had pursued this relationship when Chair broke up in season 3, it would have made more sense. Right now, it feels contrived; like an unnecessary source of drama, because the Prince won't be as important to the SL, anymore. I mean, honestly, Blair gets pregnant, loses her baby, marries one guy, tells another she loves him, and develops feelings for somebody else in the space of three weeks? Okay, then.
Dan's characters has only gotten worse this season. I want season one and two-neurotic-sarcastic-goofy-Dan back, who cared about Serena's feelings, even if they weren't together. This show is not what it used to be, and why anyone is enjoying it right now, is unclear to me.
Beautiful episode! And I have to say: Finally!! I never though back in S1 when I was all about the Dan/Serena & Chuck/Blair I would end up loving Dan/Blair in the end. But I am and I' glad to see that is going somewhere.
I think Serena needs to get over herself. At least Dan is not stringing her along giving her hope like she's done when he was pining for her all those years. And I think it too selfish of her to hold this connection Dan and Blir have against them (especially blaming Blair so much).
I liked faux!Charlie, and I still do, but I think I like real!Charlie way more. And I do enjoy that she's giving Nate a run for his money.
And am I the only one who likes this Alessandra/Chuck thing? I saw a little something at Dan's party, but seeing more of it was interesting. It might be a good story if Chuck actually starts to like her, in the process.
And I guess Blair's "assistant" will assist in the Louie exit storyline. Good! That needs to end. And it went on long enough to begin with. Though I think it would have been more effective if this character had shown up sooner, to plant the seeds from the begining of the season.
Chair fans: you're extremely childish and ignorant for doing what you did to this poll. And I'm not even a Dair fan, but this is fucked up, get professional help and learn to rate episodes and other things in your lives not always based on a fictional pairing.
It is funny to me how happy Dair fans are. You do realize this makes Humphrey Blair's.. third choice, right? You also realize it makes her look like a fickle slut, as well as a horrible best friend? And, you must also realize that Dan is manipulating her and alienating her from everyone else, and it's not going to end well, right? This season truly sucks, and at this point I hope Dan and Blair both end up alone. Blair is a sad shadow of her once former glory. I never thought I'd prefer Serena, but there ya go. Dan can have her at this point. She's no prize.
why would serena and chuck deserve much better? every character had its good and awful times and now it's their turn.. blair is the one deserving an honest, beautiful romance with dan. suddenly, serena loves him, but let's not forget with how many guys she's been in the meantime. where was her love then?
how does this make her look like a slut? Blair isn't sleeping around. She has feelings for Dan. I don't understand how that could make her a slut? That statement is just ridiculous.
On their twitter page, one of the writers said Blair is supposed to be behaving that way this season. He said it in reply to someone who asked him the same thing that you're saying, about Blair being unrecognizable and not understanding her this season, so I trust that it has a direction that it is going in.
I don't think slut is the right word, but kissing someone when you're married is wrong. Even if it is a loveless marriage, she chose to go through with it, and to stay in it.
Gossip Girl has to destroy the characters of Blair and Dan and make them look like wishy-washy, pathetic fool in order to try and put them together. That's a testament to how unbelievable and unrealistic this relationship is. Ed Westwick has said that people don't go from loathing one another like Blair and Dan did to falling in love and he's 100% right. Dan didn't start liking Blair until she was depressed and becoming more and more unlike her true self. And then he took advantage by turnign her against Chuck. Dan doesn't love the real Blair. This is why this is wrong on so many levels. He love is not real. It's based on a fantasy.
Yes, because there couldn't POSSIBLY be more Chair fans than Dair fans. Get over yourself. Chair is way more popular than Dair. And put Chair and Derena together and the Dair fanbase is miniscule in comparison. No matter how you look at it, this "relationship" (I give it three or four more episodes tops) is a FAIL for many more people than it is a win.
Oh please. Don't try and act like there aren't a lot of people that dislike Dair. It's not just Chair fans you know. Are you forgetting Derena fans. There are more people that dislike this pairing than like it.
"every character had its good and awful times and now it's their turn" Now it's their turn ? Wouldn't you say, EVERY FREAKING TIME IT'S THEIR TURN ? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously, Chuck and Serena had almost death experiences, i wouldn't be surprised if they die at the series finale or even before! Dan will have a happy ending, as Blair will have too. But Chuck ? Hmmmm, he'll probably be forever alone or dead.
And you say Blair deserve a beautiful and honest romance ? I agree with you, so she bet starting look for it, huh ? I don't think a romance is honest when one of them is hiding that he's the reason the marriage of the other is all messed up.
I think there are many options because people do have different opinions about the episodes. Or we are supposed to vote only when we like the episode ? Care to explain this to me ?
I didn't know we're supposed to think everything is wonderful and smells like rainbows.
"Desperate" coming from a Dair fan. That's funny. Let's see what you say by the end of the season when Chuck and Blair are inevitably back together or on their way to being there.
Oh my god, i would give you a hug if i had a chance, really!
lexieflavor: We're all having hard time getting Blair this season. At times it doesn't even feel like Blair. Are we supposed to feel this?GGWriters: Yes. Absolutely.
They answered that in a Q&A on twitter. Blair is out of character (they say it's on purpose), but it's true, she's not acting like herself. So you're totally right.
Serena suddenly loves Dan? Lol, I think you wanted to say "Blair suddenly loves Dan". Where was her love in the last five seasons? She now loves him while two episodes before she had always loved Chuck and loved him "more and more every day if it's even possible to love someone that much".
Dear Chair and Dair fans: This is a TV-show. Get over it. I actually don't see why everone can't be happy?
Dair fans: get what they want, Dan and Blair explore their relationship, they will have a nice time. It's possible it won't work out, but their friendship remains in the end, no matter what happens before.
Chair fans: get what they want - but later. Chuck and Blair are very possibly endgame. Isn't that enough for you?!
I don't get how anyone can get threatened by anything on TV, it's just TV. But never mind.
I actually don't care who ends up with whom, that's why I tell you: Dair is not endgame. And I think deep down even Dair fans know that. But I'd like to see Dair for a while, I'm sure it's interesting how the characters develop around this.
how is it possible that this was the best episode of GG? just because of dair? like srly? what about the plotline? the writing? acting? this show should be more than just dair or chair or derena or whoever whatever whenever.... plotline meeeh. writing meehhh. acting okay that was acutally working. poor actors ..
Wow, the poll numbers are crazy! I think it's been a long time since people were THAT divided on an episode.
I loved the Charlie/Ivy interaction, brief as it was - I've been waiting for them to be in the same room for what seems like forever. Things are going to heat up in the next few episodes now that Lola knows that Ivy has been using her name :)
And people need to calm the eff down - BOTH camps. Let's keep the site friendly, people. I know it's asking a lot, but STOP PROVOKING EACH OTHER. Aaaand I'm going to start ducking the projectiles, now.
You keep on believing that. You guys are certainly LOUDER. But there are more Chair fans overall. Twitter and the amount of times Chuck and Blair and things related to them trend attests to that. But keep on living in your Dair bubble, fine with me. Let's see how you feel when it inevitably ends.
Let's see what Dair fans think of Blair when she goes back to Chuck. And "better for her" is so lame. Cmon. That's your opinion. Do you know that Dan and Blair would make a good couple and work out? No, you don't. You just like the idea of it. And it's not even Dair that bothers me personally. It's Blair and Dan this ENTIRE season. I loved Blair last season when she was hanging out with Dan. This season she's completely lost. And this is on purpose mind you, and that's why I don't get why Dair fans are rubbing this in Chair fans faces like it's some kind of victory. The writers have already said we're supposed to feel like we don't know Blair anymore. And Dan? He's become like a pathetic lovesick 12 year old boy. They just aren't likable. These aren't the characters we know and love. That's the problem I have with this whole thing. You aren't getting why Chair fans have a problem with this. It's becuse the real Blair would never do any of the thing she's been doing lately. It's not because she kissed someone else.
OMG, thank you. You expressed my feelings EXACTLY. This is the problem in a nutshell I have with the whole thing. None of it makes sense and they are ruining Blair and Dan as characters. Dan this season, who I usually LOVE no matter what, even when he was dating Olivia and Vanessa, has become completely unlikable. And Blair is unrecognizable. It's just sad. And then Dair fans acting happy about this, like it's some kind of victory, just makes me think they really don't care about the characters at all as long as they get their ship. These characters aren't likable. They aren't being themselves. There's nothing good about this.
She's using Dan as a rebound. There's a difference. While being married to Louis and being in love with Chuck. Do you think her love for Chuck just magically diappeared in one episode? Dan manipulated this whole situation in his favor by blaming Chuck for the blast. This turned Blair against Chuck. And it does make her look fickle. I don't agree with the word slut, but it makes Blair look absolutely ridiculous and clueless. She's not acting like herself, noone can deny it. She's not in good place to be making decisions, which is why Dair fans shouldn't be acting so smug and happy about this.
Keep telling yourself that. I feel no threat from Dair, I feel disappointed in the writers. They have made both Blair and Dan unlikable this season. Dair is the least of it. Blair is not herslef and the writers have said that yes we're supposed to feel this way. But I don't have to like it. It doesn't mean that I feel threatened. I actually care about maintaining character integrity and this season as a whole has not done that for Blair and Dan. It's like they are different characters and there's nothing good about that. But Dair will not get endgame. It's not supported by the writing, and that's what matters.
'Desperate' coming from a Dair fan is not amusing considering the writers have to destroy two characters just to even hint at your ship becoming real. How long do you realistically think this is going to last when the writers have already said that we aren't supposed to recognize and like this Blair and that Chuck and Blair are never over? I just don't like that two of the five characters have become unlikeable, especially when Nate was already boring. That leaves only Chuck and Serena.
I saw you're comments above mocking Chair fans. You're no better than or more mature than anyone here. There's a difference between desperate and pissed off. Chair fans are pissed off, and Dair fans are so desperate to see their ship that they don't care if the writers have to destroy the characters and make them unlikable to make it happen.
Your maturity knows no bounds. Ironic how Dair fans are always trying to say Chuck fans are teenagers. People are allowed to dislike something. And obviously the fanbases of Chuck/Blair and Dan/Serena, and true fans of Dan and Blair as characters, are not going to like this development. Not when it has to ruin two characters and crush two others.
I love how some of the Dair fans are saying that Chair fans are 'cheating', and that Chair fans are childish (or vice versa). It's not fair to bunch a whole group together like that. I'm sure that if some Chair fans create fake accounts, there are probably some fake Dair accounts out there as well. These shipping fights are getting kinda ridiculous. People are getting a little too personal for my tastes. Yes, I may want Chair to be endgame, but really, If it ends up being Dair, there's always fanfiction. (;
Trust me the show is safe. Ringer hit a 0.3 last night. Nikita is still the lowest rated show and Hart Of Dixie for a 1st season has very poor in the ratings.
Warner boss and the head of The CW have 99% said we will get a final season.
I actually liked it. I don't see why there's so much hate really. Sure some people want Chair but Chair wasn't together anyway so stop blaming Dan. And please stop with all the bullshit. Blair doesn't deserve Chuck and Serena???? Yes you are right she deserves so much better than the leftovers of affection they can give her.
Chuck wants Blair 1. when he can't have her. 2. When he needs someone to tell him that he's a good man. He has done a couple of good things this season but that can't cancel out everything. He had 2 other women (I'm not counting the ones he slept with but the ones who mattered), decent women and he told the first that she mattered to him more than anything and the second that she was sacred to him. But he wants Blair for when he's sad and alone. And don't get me started on Serena. She's a bad friend, a worse girlfriend and basicly a slut. She had Dan right there for so long and he did everything for her and put her above himself and loved her and she didn't give a crap and always put him not even second. He was perfect and she fucking stepped all over him like a bitch that she is. Now that he finally got over her and her bullshit she wants him back but she knows how he feels for Blair because he told her himself but that doesn't matter. Dan and Blair are caring and forgiving people and they have both been put second by the people they loved. They found each other in an hour of need and helped each other. She doesn't love him all of the sudden, he build up that love and care and appreciation by holding her hand and Always being there even when Chuck and Serena weren't. And maybe you would like to be in a destructive relationship where you give your all and get walked over and are NEVER HAPPY but I don't. And she had forgotten how to be happy (that's what chuck did to her) and Dan brought joy back into her life. Why is that so bad? Wouldn't you want someone to do that for you?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Blair is equal to Scarlett O'Hara of Gone with the Wind. So it must end alone!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely AWFUL!! Goodbye GG!! You're a terrible show now! WTF happened to Blair Waldorf? Chuck and Serena deserve so much better!!

ReplyDeleteMore dislikes? In which planet? And you know, Chair fans like create fake counts for twititions, fake Youtube counts, it's not a problem.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could trust the writers, but they've made Blair pretty much unrecognizable at this point. I never thought she would behave as badly as she did in this episode- I mean, in Chuck's bedroom? Really, Blair? I just want her to end up alone at this point, honestly.
ReplyDeleteYup. Blair doesn't deserve anyone at this point- not even Serena.
ReplyDeleteYES! DAIR!! FINALLY!!!
ReplyDeleteeverything else was good too :)
lets enjoy DAIR guys!! we all know it wont last long :(
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great episode mainly thanks to the Dair scenes as well as the Charlie/Ivy scenes.
ReplyDelete54% voted awful, there are more Chair fans than Dair.
ReplyDeleteThey are organised in order to hijack the polls..
ReplyDeleteLook it up....
couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeletethe word "hate" is not enough for me!
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand what were the writers thinking! dan and blair? it makes me sick!
ReplyDeleteGO DAIR
ReplyDeleteBest Valentines episode. Dair is perfect they make each other so happy!!
ReplyDeletethats is bullshit. and you know it.
ReplyDeleteBEST EP OF THE SEASON :) DARE TO DAIR :>
ReplyDeleteFinally one sequence of great episodes! And this one just make my heart stop. Was so damn perfect!
ReplyDeleteumm..yes, we have
ReplyDeleteYou all stuck with GG when Chuck whored out Blair, but when she kisses other guy (who is so much better for her anyway) you suddenly want to stop watching it? Well, go ahead! Noone is stopping you! Ph, and I guess it`s ok for Chuck to sleep with random girls (or not so random..remember Jenny?) but Blair is supposed to celibate? Wow, just wow!
ReplyDeleteI just see so much anger. Just saying, I'm not one of them. This episode was nice for this Dair shipper. Although, I see this tv series ending the way the books did, S and B together. Haha.
ReplyDeleteLOL it's so funny to see you all fight over this. I knew this was coming, but it still cracks me up every damn time. xD
ReplyDeleteThe episode was awful, not because of the "Dair", but because it has set up the rest of this half of the season to be completely irrelevant, and seriously lacking in continuity. The Blair/Serena relationship is facing a huge obstacle, and with all the romantic issues, was it really neccessary to include an obstacle in the show's strongest friendship, too?
ReplyDeleteI know the writers probably think they're doing something "fun and exciting" with Dair, but from a completely unbiased perspective, it is clear to me that by introducing the couple this late into the series, they are ruining pretty much all of Blair's romantic relationships, as well as the character.
There are more cheaters! You know, when Chairios ask how cheating in a poll because Chair need to win... LOL
ReplyDeleteStay pressed Chuckistan, we know it's you guys voting "awful" bc Lord Manpain ended up with Alessaaaawndra
ReplyDeleteBeautiful episode! And I have to say: Finally!!
ReplyDeleteI never though back in S1 when I was all about the Dan/Serena & Chuck/Blair I would end up loving Dan/Blair in the end.
I loved it. The more Dair relationship development, the better. I guess it was the Chair fans who voted "awful" :))))
ReplyDeleteAWESOME IS IN THE LEAD!
ReplyDeleteDair ftw :)
awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteChair fans: you're extremely childish and ignorant for doing what you did to this poll. And I'm not even a Dair fan, but this is fucked up, get professional help and learn to rate episodes and other things in your lives not always based on a fictional pairing.
ReplyDeleteBLAIR AND DAN??? How awful is that??????? Blair and Chuck! This is how it has to be!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad that Ivy and Charlie are there together!!!
ReplyDeleteThis shows how much CB fans they love Blair lmao
ReplyDeleteAre you fucking retarded? Yes? Ok, then. Goodbye.
ReplyDeletewhy would serena and chuck deserve much better? every character had its good and awful times and now it's their turn.. blair is the one deserving an honest, beautiful romance with dan. suddenly, serena loves him, but let's not forget with how many guys she's been in the meantime. where was her love then?
ReplyDeleteBest episode this season
ReplyDeletehow does this make her look like a slut? Blair isn't sleeping around. She has feelings for Dan. I don't understand how that could make her a slut? That statement is just ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteOn their twitter page, one of the writers said Blair is supposed to be behaving that way this season. He said it in reply to someone who asked him the same thing that you're saying, about Blair being unrecognizable and not understanding her this season, so I trust that it has a direction that it is going in.
ReplyDeleteI don't think slut is the right word, but kissing someone when you're married is wrong. Even if it is a loveless marriage, she chose to go through with it, and to stay in it.
ReplyDeleteGossip Girl has to destroy the characters of Blair and Dan and make them look like wishy-washy, pathetic fool in order to try and put them together.
ReplyDeleteYes, because there couldn't POSSIBLY be more Chair fans than Dair fans. Get over yourself. Chair is way more popular than Dair. And put Chair and Derena together and the Dair fanbase is miniscule in comparison. No matter how you look at it, this "relationship" (I give it three or four more episodes tops) is a FAIL for many more people than it is a win.
ReplyDeleteOh please. Don't try and act like there aren't a lot of people that dislike Dair. It's not just Chair fans you know. Are you forgetting Derena fans. There are more people that dislike this pairing than like it.
ReplyDelete"every character had its good and awful times and now it's their turn" Now it's their turn ? Wouldn't you say, EVERY FREAKING TIME IT'S THEIR TURN ? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously, Chuck and Serena had almost death experiences, i wouldn't be surprised if they die at the series finale or even before! Dan will have a happy ending, as Blair will have too. But Chuck ? Hmmmm, he'll probably be forever alone or dead.
ReplyDeleteAnd you say Blair deserve a beautiful and honest romance ? I agree with you, so she bet starting look for it, huh ? I don't think a romance is honest when one of them is hiding that he's the reason the marriage of the other is all messed up.
I think there are many options because people do have different opinions about the episodes. Or we are supposed to vote only when we like the episode ? Care to explain this to me ?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know we're supposed to think everything is wonderful and smells like rainbows.
This episode was so AWFUL I don't plan on watching GG anymore.
ReplyDelete"Desperate" coming from a Dair fan. That's funny. Let's see what you say by the end of the season when Chuck and Blair are inevitably back together or on their way to being there.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, i would give you a hug if i had a chance, really!
ReplyDeletelexieflavor: We're all having hard time getting Blair this season. At times it doesn't even feel like Blair. Are we supposed to feel this?GGWriters: Yes. Absolutely.
They answered that in a Q&A on twitter. Blair is out of character (they say it's on purpose), but it's true, she's not acting like herself. So you're totally right.
It was the best episode of GG this season!! Dan & Blair are perfect for each other! Love them so much! ♥
ReplyDeleteSerena suddenly loves Dan? Lol, I think you wanted to say "Blair suddenly loves Dan". Where was her love in the last five seasons? She now loves him while two episodes before she had always loved Chuck and loved him "more and more every day if it's even possible to love someone that much".
ReplyDeleteDear Chair and Dair fans: This is a TV-show. Get over it.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't see why everone can't be happy?
Dair fans:
get what they want, Dan and Blair explore their relationship, they will have a nice time. It's possible it won't work out, but their friendship remains in the end, no matter what happens before.
Chair fans:
get what they want - but later. Chuck and Blair are very possibly endgame. Isn't that enough for you?!
this episode sucked blair is a w**** f*** GG.Awful is not even a strong word
ReplyDeleteProblem is the chair fans feel threatened by Dair endgame posibilities xD
ReplyDeleteI don't get how anyone can get threatened by anything on TV, it's just TV. But never mind.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't care who ends up with whom, that's why I tell you: Dair is not endgame. And I think deep down even Dair fans know that. But I'd like to see Dair for a while, I'm sure it's interesting how the characters develop around this.
Probably at the same place where you are right now.
ReplyDeleteUMMM no. Actually Dair is more popular.
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode and lol at the chair fans spamming! :P
ReplyDeletelol desperate chuck stans comments, episode was great! one of the best for sure!
ReplyDeletehow is it possible that this was the best episode of GG? just because of dair? like srly? what about the plotline? the writing? acting? this show should be more than just dair or chair or derena or whoever whatever whenever.... plotline meeeh. writing meehhh. acting okay that was acutally working. poor actors ..
ReplyDeleteI was just referencing that question a few comments above this one :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome just for that kiss. It took ages!
ReplyDeleteWow, the poll numbers are crazy! I think it's been a long time since people were THAT divided on an episode.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Charlie/Ivy interaction, brief as it was - I've been waiting for them to be in the same room for what seems like forever.
ReplyDeleteLaugh now. Dair fans will be the ones ranting and raving by the end of the season when this trainwreck is over.
ReplyDeleteLet's see what Dair fans think of Blair when she goes back to Chuck.
ReplyDeleteOMG, thank you.
ReplyDeleteShe's using Dan as a rebound.
ReplyDeleteKeep telling yourself that.
ReplyDelete'Desperate' coming from a Dair fan is not amusing considering the writers have to destroy two characters just to even hint at your ship becoming real. How long do you realistically think this is going to last when the writers have already said that we aren't supposed to recognize and like this Blair and that Chuck and Blair are never over? I just don't like that two of the five characters have become unlikeable, especially when Nate was already boring. That leaves only Chuck and Serena.
ReplyDeleteI saw you're comments above mocking Chair fans. You're no better than or more mature than anyone here. There's a difference between desperate and pissed off. Chair fans are pissed off, and Dair fans are so desperate to see their ship that they don't care if the writers have to destroy the characters and make them unlikable to make it happen.
ReplyDeleteYour maturity knows no bounds.
ReplyDeletegoodbye diana....hahahaha
ReplyDeletethis season dair is a win
ReplyDeletei hope chuck bass fans end this season.....hahahaha.. kacian deh loe
ReplyDeletegoodbye smallville944.......hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI love how some of the Dair fans are saying that Chair fans are 'cheating', and that Chair fans are childish (or vice versa). It's not fair to bunch a whole group together like that. I'm sure that if some Chair fans create fake accounts, there are probably some fake Dair accounts out there as well.
ReplyDeleteThese shipping fights are getting kinda ridiculous. People are getting a little too personal for my tastes. Yes, I may want Chair to be endgame, but really, If it ends up being Dair, there's always fanfiction. (;
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODBYE GG. ¡ONLY CHAIR! DAIR SHIT.
ReplyDeleteHorrible!
ReplyDeleteif the series be canceled, you can blame yourselves fanatic chair fans!
ReplyDeletethey deserve better people? Serena is a bitch and Chuck is an offending women. Think about it.
ReplyDeletethey don't deserve Blar and Dan at all
I have never seen so many votes for Awful before. Usually people vote awesome because it is GG. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe Blair did such a psychotic 180!
ReplyDeleteTrust me the show is safe. Ringer hit a 0.3 last night. Nikita is still the lowest rated show and Hart Of Dixie for a 1st season has very poor in the ratings.
ReplyDeleteWarner boss and the head of The CW have 99% said we will get a final season.
now they vote awful because of dair :)
ReplyDeleteI actually liked it.
ReplyDeleteChuck wants Blair 1. when he can't have her.
Really? I had now idea that Dair was so popular! http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/02/poll-gossip-girl-fans-chair-or-dair.html
ReplyDeleteThis episode has the most hilarious poll result I've seen on Spoiler TV. Love it. It should come with subtitles:
ReplyDeleteAwesome (Dair!)
Great (Dair?)
Okay (Neutral. Bland. Dull. Meh. In other words, Nate Archibald)
Poor (Chair?)
Awful (Chair!)
