This definitely makes up for the last two lackluster episodes. This double episode was really good. Tracy's Moonlighting comment about Liz and Lutz was my favorite line of the night.
Really good episode, a back to shape definitely, and I was really getting worried there the last couple of episodes.
All around great performances and it was nice to see the characters paired differently. THe jokes were good and Mardsen's character really seems good for Liz, more so, it feels like the first time she is in a serious relationship.
Funny bits: Liz being the female Lutz (realizations suck, and it's so cold, bawl!!) and Jenna needing the pain to perform. Loved Avery's mother and Jack (I don't remember the name of the actress, but I like her a lot!) the hell hole that is Ikea, and the crapiness of the UN.
Alzo, Hazel is batshit insane, wonder where they want to go with her.
Very good ep. Thought that Mary Steenbergen looked great and did a wonderful job and she and Alec played off each other well. The Ikea plot and the Lutz plot cracked me up as well and can't wiat to see where they go with the "Single White Page" storyline for he rest of the season... lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I thought Parks and Rec was on, but it wasn't, which made me sad, so I watched this instead.
ReplyDeleteJames Marsden is so very attractive. LOL at the end with Liz and the table.

Welcome back to my heart, 30 Rock
Avery's mother was played by Mary Steenburgen. She was in Back to the Future, pt. 3, but also in a little movie that I loved, Melvin and Howard.
ReplyDeleteIt was okay, thought the Jenna storyline was the funniest
