    Besides "The Vampire Diaries", I honestly don't see any other show on television being so bold about killing off one of their series regulars. I mean, even TVD now is careful about who they kill off. Caroline, Bonnie, Elena, Stefan, Damon and Klaus? All on the "SAFE" list to be honest.

    I really hope it's him. It would be a real twist, considering how everyone is working overtime to explain away the death. (LOL @ some of the theories I've heard)

    Who else could it be? If it's Tyler who dies then the buildup has been for nothing. It can't be Jack since he is seen trying to move the body.

    The ONLY other person it could be is Daniel.

    I voted not Daniel, but  voted with my heart and my hopes, not my reason.  I think the show can pull it off either way.

    I was absolutely positive it was Daniel until they showed him falling in the promo for the next episode.  That convinced me it was going there was going to be some kind of twist.

    It would be a good twist if it were Daniel, but I don't think if that were so they would reveal it in the promo becuase that would ruin the surprise. Plus, the spoilers and promo photos indicate it is not Daniel who dies. But, you never know with a show like revenge. Either way, I am sure the writers will throw us some twists and turns as they usually do.

    I think It Is daniel.We know It's not Jack.For It to be Tyler would be cheat after all the build up.I think the twist will be who kills him and who goes on trial for It.Emily Is out for revenge.That Is purpose for her entire relationship.Some forget that.I think a twist could be Emilly kills him and frames Conrad for It.
    Daniel's grandfather wanting him to take over the company would provide motive.Some care more about power than family.

    Emily/Amanda,and Victoria are the core of the show.Besides them anyone else could go at any time.

    Tyler being victim would be biggest cheat ever.

    I voted yes, even though there is probably a good chance that it isn't Daniel.  I just feel like making it someone else would cheapen the series a little bit for me.  The whole series, I've been watching and wondering how the events at the Hamptons built up to Daniel's death after the beginning of the pilot.  If Daniel isn't dead, and they "twist" it in order to keep a fan favorite alive, all of this build up means nothing and isn't nearly as strong writing wise.  They might as well have not started the pilot with the engagement party, because the death drama if it's another character is just as severe every other episode.  That's how I feel anyway.  I like Daniel, but I hope it was a proper in medias res, and the writers go through with his demise.

    My gut says no, as the writers wanted to "please the fans".  I personally truly wish he IS the one who dies, but I really think the writers are going to take the easy road out on this one(I think Tyler will probably be the one to die)....  If Daniel does die, I will be truly impressed....but also rather surprised.

    A part of me hopes Daniel dies becuase it would be a gutsy move and interesting to see how the writers continue the series without him. Emily has been using Daniel to get close to the Graysons so that seh can get her revenge, and since they really don't like her, without Daniel, how would she continue with her plans? In the promo photos for scandal, we see Emily and Victoria appear to be on normal terms, with Victoria giving Emily a gift. Why would she give her a gift if Daniel is dead? On the other hand, we know from spoilers that eventually Victoictoria and EMily ream up for a common cause and the Graysons reunite in a crisis and Victoria gets a new love interest. I don't see these things happening if Daniel is dead and I think it would be interesting to see him on trial for a murder he did not commit becuase it would parallel David Clarke's experience. Plus, in a way, it would be Karma for the graysons becuase they framed an innocent for their crimes and now they would hace one of their own dealing with the same situation.

    If you watch the promo carefully, you will see that when Daniel falls at the first moments of the promo, he is not wearing black gloves,... but when victoria runs near to the corpse, the man wears black gloves,... Also its funny that when she is running to the corpse his hands is down to his body, and when she is reaching to him his hand covers his face... So I think it isn't Daniel...

    Episode 1 (pilot) shows the victim falling forward (note the left  hand-empty) . In the Chaos preview we see DANIEL falling to his knees and forward (note his left hand-not empty)  Also note when Victoria runs up to the body, the face is covered by a hand with a GLOVE on it.
