    I will not say the show sounds terrible, because it's the review that makes the show sound terrible. And since in a comment below someone wrote "Is this similar to the reaction you had to Once Upon A Time that caused you to never publish that blog post?" I have hope that the show might not be THIS bad. Because I love Once Upon a Time. And if the script itself read equally bad, then maybe one really does need to see it to understand and like it.

    Thanks a lot for linking the review though! (And yes, I actually really do hope that it is better than it sounds)

    From the review it does sound really bad. But the idea of a world were the Emperor has died, and there is a struggle with power does sound interesting to me (however gotta agree with the reviewer that from that I don´t get Beauty and the Beast), so I hope the pilot is better that it sounds.

    The arbitrary "realism" is exactly what I dislike about Once Upon a Time... Leave it to ABC to make a bad idea sound even worse to me!
