I just have to say i'm getting pretty sick of David! When is he going to grow a set and stop acting like a kid?Shit,he is pissing me off,and i resent it......
So to recap, there's no way that "August W. Booth" is the stranger's real name, David has no balls, and trying to leave Storybrooke could explain Kathryn's disappearance.
What are these scriptwriters are doing with David? Prolong the bore. I thought I would not watch a soap opera in Once Upon a Time, unfortunately David / Kathryn becomes a soap opera. Josh Dallas is too talented for this crap, what a waste . I am truly disappointed...
Ever been to Maine? Farthest northeast corner of the USA, and the nearest point of civilization (ie the nearest major US city) would be Boston with a bullet. And I live even farther north east ;) Drive in most other directions than Boston, and your into Canada.
Nope, Storybrooke is in Maine, which is the state Northeast of Massachusetts, and is pretty rural, and made of of small towns and cities. Boston is the nearest big city.
I think what we are seeing here, given the existing parallels between the worlds, is that Kathryn/Abigail's alternative to life and love with David/Charming is not another man, but a career and life of her own. If that is the case, then how damn refreshing is that! Definitely redemptive for her and for the show... here's hoping. In any case, she is seeming less and less like any kind of b*tch or villain. Never could stand adulterous relationships - why I never liked the stories of King Arthur, Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot love-triangle. I REALLY hope David redeems himself this episode, and he & Mary Margaret come clean.
Hmmm I wonder if Kathryn disappears because she tries to leave for that college. After all, no fairy tale land person is supposed to be able to leave town. People who tried to escape got in car accidents on the show so far.
David should never have begun a relationship with Mary, without leaving the (Fake)wife. MM should never have agreed to date as well as part of a triangle.Actually in this situation of David triangle...he is always cheating. He does not remember that he is James, and yet he sleeps and has sex with Kathryn. So is deeply betray Snow White. In Storybrook society eyes he is cheating Kathryn with Mary Margaret. But when he remembers who he is for real. He will feel disgust for having slept and had sex with someone who was not married to him = The Fake Wife Kathryn. So in one situation or another if David has balls, the best option is leave Kathryn.Because although the curse if he really is a man of honor, if he loves and RESPECT MaryMargaret, he is with her that should be and not with a fake wife. I hate to see triangles and cheating relationships...I hate soap operas...sorry
Emma and August(lol) really do have a great chemistry, imo tho there was more with Graham, but they're both rugged with leather jackets, i guess that's a consolation. I still prefer Emma & Graham at the mo.
The evil queen must have made it so that Snow and Charming have an utter change of personality, both act like cowards/cheats, which they would have never done before. It's Regina's revenge, but because of Emma the true selves are slowly starting to emerge, like with Archie Hopper and Sheriff Graham.
I know a lot are giving David the stick for being a spineless cheat, but I honestly think that he's truly lost and it's Regina's doing that they cannot stand up for what is right and be their courageous old self. Give them time. If Abigail/Kathryn is becoming her old self, maybe that is why she disappears, Regina probably stashes her into that secret loony bin where Belle is hidden.
Just wanted to clarify, I hate cheats and triangles that involves married people. I was just musing over their personalities in Storybrook versus the Fairytale land.
I think it's not by hasard she ask him "I thought you came here for inspiration", maybe it's his inspiration it's her "the hope", maybe she will help him to write the happy endings
I wonder if MIB 2.0's name is an allusion to Wayne C. Booth, who was a literary critic. Since he is a writer it could fir. You know how names can have a lot of meaning or Easter egg qualities to them.
I actually there is/was a featurette about how the spell turned all the characters into what the EQ wanted them to be, I guess that's what the implanted memories are all about. And why no one wants to stand up to her pre-Emma. Rumpy is immune because it was his spell in the first place.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow, I love these sneak peeks!
ReplyDeleteOh come on David!!! Find your inner Prince Charming! He's not a wimp!
ReplyDeleteStop being such an idiot, David.
ReplyDeleteThe writer, is he Rumplestiltskin's long lost son?
ReplyDeleteGood peeks but i agree with the other comments, David needs to man up!!!
ReplyDeleteIt would make him pretty long lost.
ReplyDeleteI just have to say i'm getting pretty sick of David! When is he going to grow a set and stop acting like a kid?Shit,he is pissing me off,and i resent it......
ReplyDeleteAugust Wayne Booth? Not a great name...But I doubt it is his "real" name (whatever that means in this show)
ReplyDeleteAnd David needs to man up! I know he is "cursed", but that doesn't mean that he has to act like a scumbag.
I'm feeling guilty for starting to ship Emma & the stranger(well, um August I guess) - Graham is her one true love!

ReplyDeleteWhy is it whenever anyone tries to leave Storybrooke, they always try for Boston?

OMFG Emma and the Stranger have a fucking chemistry it's unbelievable I love it. I can't wait for sunday now ^_____^
ReplyDeleteI believe it was establish in the pilot episode that Storybrook is in the outskirts of Boston...
ReplyDeleteThe epic love story of Snow White and Prince charming is, well, epic, and it has been established well in the show, but the love story between May Margaret and David is such cliché is just plain boring...

ReplyDeleteWho is Frederick???
ReplyDeletePrefer Emma/August to Mary/David.
ReplyDeleteDavid is like a child..
ReplyDeleteI wonder why all TV-Shows, end up making love triangles
