A talking caterpillar is coming to the show…
The talking caterpillar is going to be just one part of an Alice in Wonderland-themed episode. The title is “Hat Trick.” (You got that right? The Mad Hatter, of course… )
The talking caterpillar will be played by the Who’s rock legend Roger Daltrey in voice over. Once Upon executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz say the Who’s 1975 rock opera Tommy was “a huge inspiration for the show.”

Okay, well this is awesome. I cannot wait for this episode!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Alice in Wonderland-themed episode! I love this show SO MUCH!
ReplyDeleteMan, they are really eating through the big disney stories, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely surprising casting news!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's fantastic! It's going to be strange, though - the only voice I've been able to hear for the Caterpillar since Tim Burton's film is Alan Rickman :/ I'm sure it'll be great, though!
ReplyDeletei was wondering when they would use this story line sounds good
ReplyDeleteThis should be a fun episode. I love Roger Daltrey.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and Rump will turn out the Hatter...
ReplyDeleteWow, that's amazing news! Alice in Wonderland episode and Roger Daltrey! Love OUAT! I really can't wait for this one!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see this one !
ReplyDeleteWho's gonna play Alice? Rumpelstiltskin? Because I'm pretty over the obsession thew writers have with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he was Alice too. I don't think this show is so OMG AMAZIIING like some people think.
ReplyDeleteOMG!! Alice in Wonderland - yay!!!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! (and he's quite a good actor too so this is not just stunt casting!)
ReplyDeleteHe'll make a great caterpillar.
I wonder if there's any chance he'll get a flesh and blood Storybrooke counterpart?
ReplyDeleteWell that sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWhy does the title read "Once Upon A Season"? ... =)
ReplyDeleteAnd this sounds really good. I was waiting for the Alice in Wonderland theme, so a big yay for that already! Thanks a lot for the news!
Do you mean Mad Hatter when you say Alice? I suspect if Rump is anyone, it would be the Mad Hatter. I don't like the obsession the writers have of putting him in every story possible though, as much as I like the character. It's like he's anywhere and everywhere every day. He's more involved in the stories in OUAT than any mythical god was in Greece or Rome. I mean jeez...what's with all the deals?
ReplyDeleteWow. By the time they're done with this show, it will have a universe with more crossovers and mash-ups than the Marvel Comics Universe. Not that that's a bad thing, I actually think it's pretty cool as long as it remains accessible enough to keep drawing in new viewers.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! A Alice in Wonderland episode?!? SWEET!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the talking caterpillar!!!
ReplyDeleteAnything with Robert Carlyle is gold!
