It's a good thing that Jane has , from time to time, an opponent who can play at is level. Morena Baccarin make an interesting villain. And Jane isn't going to fail: he's the hero ;-)
As long Jane knows what he's doing... but ok... I admit, I don't like Baccarins character from the start in "Every Rose has its Thorn". Flynn which use her own attractiveness to get what she want is a thorn in my eye. I appreciate the idea of an intelligent opponent against Jane but I do have a problem with an opponent like Erica Flynn. Perhaps I'm thinking to much and it's like Nixenkind already said, "promos are often deceiving", so I'm looking forward to it.
I hate her, too- she's the role model of the cold-hearted murderer, and the way she killed her husband (kicking him into the marina with her heel!) and manipulated her poor assistant to give her an alibi didn't exactly endear her to me. But no matter what happens: she will most certainly be gone at the end of next episode...
I don't think you're supposed to sympathise with Erica or particularly 'like' her as a person...but that doesn't change the fact that she is an interesting and brilliant character.
Sure you don't have to like her as a person to find her interesting and brilliant. But I don't find my self caring about her at all, she doesn't fascinates me, freaks me out or evokes any other strong feelings in me - so I just hope this will be the last episode she is in. And I have nothing against a challenge for Jane (quite the contrary), just not in the form of Erica Flynn.
Jane should let her do it, regardless of her true purpose. Sort out the details later. Besides, his wife has been gone for a while now. Jane deserves a little lovin'.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I can't wait for this episode!
ReplyDeleteOMG! she is playing his game & I LOVE IT! SO CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ..
ReplyDeleteReally? I'm in conflict :/ I don't know if I want to watch this episode or not. I don't want to see Jane to fail in his own game.

I think that, too- the promo wants to make us ponder the possibility that he could fail, but he won't. The promos are often deceiving...
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right. I would be disappointed if it were otherwise.
