Lost Girl is serious about going dark in Season 3.

Look for the introduction of the Dark Fae elders who will recur throughout the season.

The Morrigan and Vex will also be appearing in ALOT more episodes in season 3.

There will be an on-going dark Fae Arc.

Despite Dyson having a new partner Hale will be back in season 3!

Ksenia Solo will be playing another character in addition to Kenzi.

  2. Oh man. This show is almost as cracky and crazy as Once Upon a Time. But The Morrigan and Vex camping the place up some more is ALWAYS a good thing.

  3. "Ksenia Solo will be playing another character in addition to Kenzi."I can't avoid to think in Illyria from Angel... IDK why!!!! D: Awww Kenzi be safe please. So, too much darkness will be well received :)

  4. Not a big fan of most dual roles frankly, but most of the other spoilers sound awesome! More dark, more Dark Fae, more Vex and Morrigan, and a Dark Fae arc? AWESOME!

  5. Seriously? Are they going for a Evil Twin storyline? *rolling my eyes to infinity*. On the other hand, LOVE the news of more Morrigan/Vex!

  6. The spoiler sounds so cool. I love the dark side :)

  7. I wonder if there will be a part 3 of spoilers :P

  8. Prediction:  Hale is the new Ash.

  9.  I'm not that skeptical of this development yet.  I was quite impressed with Solo during the Kensi / Dyson consciousness swap earlier this season so I don't have any strong doubts that she couldn't pull it off.  My only real concern is what type of character the writers will come up with for her.

  10.  Hale made the final cut for Ash at the start of the season and last episode brought him right back into family and Fae politics and Hale's vision for the future.  I really think the show is setting up Hale for a position of power.  Whether it's just as the new head of his clan or Ash, I don't know.  Something's in the works though.

  11. I don't really fear her ability to pull it off I guess.
I'm just not a big fan of dual roles in a general sense. Some turn out great, others really annoy me, but as a plot device I just do not care for them regardless.

  12.  I hope it's not just a plot device or a doppelganger or evil twin thing.  I think the best case scenario would be for Solo to play a completely different character altogether, like how Christopher Heyerdahl plays Bigfoot and recurs as John Druitt.  They are two completely different people who have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

  13.  No one said anything about a twin or an evil twin.  All it says is that Solo will play a different character other than Kensi.

  14. Yes, but that is the first thing that came to mind because it's completely cliche for Syfy shows. It's bad enough that she's going to play 2 characters in the first place.

  15. Well, Trick never did answer Bo's question on that.....

Not sure yet if I like the idea of Hale as the Ash.  On one hand, he'd probably be the best one we have so far (plus it would be interesting to see him play off the Morrigan).  On the other hand, I worry  that will severly limit him being the voice of reason in the group.....

    ReplyDelete
  16.  Trick is usually a fairly reasonable guy himself so I don't think the group would be lacking in that respect.  He's always promoting caution and not jumping into anything without being thoroughly informed.

  17. That's true.  I'll just miss the buddy side of things Hale brings to the equation (Trick makes me think of a favorite uncle) if that's the direction they go.  Like I said, if he becomes the Ash I am going to fully enjoy watching him and the Morrigan go at it.

  18. I just assumed these were the spoilers for the spoilers ;)

  19. I simply cannot take another doppelganger; here's to hoping they come up with something great and innovative. If she HAS to play two parts, there better be a snoopy dance involved.

Thinking about Hale--they've said the someone gets seriously injured in the upcoming fight. Maybe Hale gets hurt and he's out of commission for a couple of episodes. Taking him away from Dyson would make the "investigation of the week" episodes harder to do, but eliminating an extra character would make for tighter storylines.

  20. Not to mention, I'm not sure the "old" Ash is dead (the gravelly monotone one), he never did wake up from the coma or die.

    ReplyDelete
  21. True (though the actor who plays him is now on "Flashpoint" so I don't know if he'd be available for coming back) but I doubt the Blackthorne would be happy with him reassuming power.

    ReplyDelete
  22.  Flashpoint is still on the air?? Holy crap, you're kidding right?

    ReplyDelete
  23. No, they're going to be filming season five this year. (it's been syndicated to ION in the US)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh, I'm in the US. Maybe that's it.

  25. Trick doesn't mediate the personal stuff so much. And Hale is really the only "good" light Fae. He follows the rules and does what he's told. Without him or with him in power, we've got a lot of rebels and no good soldiers.

  26. Kind of like what Fred was meant to do in Angel if they got renewed?
Sounds like it could be cool, didn't like the actress at first, but now I think she's awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  27. LOL, I had the same thought xD
I just rewatched Angel season 5, and found out if they got renewed they would have split Illyria and Fred.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well as alive as a fictional character can be :O

    ReplyDelete
  29. Fred didn't have to die?!?! I'm retroactively sad.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think what they meant was they'd have brought her back. I always thought the line about her soul burning was thrown in for no real reason.

    ReplyDelete
  31.  I thought the old Ash was in a coma or on life support or something like that.  Am I remembering that incorrectly?

    ReplyDelete
  32.  yeah he is in a coma on life support and the actor is on flashpoint

  33.  Ksenia Solo will be great I'm sure. But it probably has something to do with the extra gift of the norn she received after attacking the tree with the chain saw. Of course it might also involve the "favor" she owes the Morrigan. Can't wait for the new season.

  34.  Illyria was going to get her old job back as the All mighty BC She was lost her power due to her body not being strong enough and science Removing them, But Fred was the Greatest scientist in the world And all her memory's and personality Wear In Illyria and it was clear they wear heading for fusion, Freds Souls was Not Destroyed so much as transformed in to Illyria and they wear Becoming some think new. A demon That could Control every Atom in there body with the Knowledge of all creation and Fred a human Who was Smarter than Any human in history. And the powers that Be wear as bad as the Bad Guys.
