“HART OF DIXIE” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“Snowflakes & Soulmates” (TV-PG, L) (HDTV)

LAVON’S PARENTS (GUEST STARS ERNIE HUDSON AND VALARIE PETTIFORD) VISIT BLUEBELL — Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) is thrilled to see snow in Bluebell, but the rest of the town is superstitious that it will bring bad luck. When Lavon’s parents (guest stars Hudson and Pettiford) make a visit to Bluebell, Lavon thinks it’s the perfect opportunity to introduce them to Didi (Nadine Velazquez), but the introduction doesn’t exactly go according to plan. Lemon (Jaime King) and George (Scott Porter) make a big decision about their future. Andy Wolk directed the episode written by David Babcock (#115).

  1. I hope the soulmates they are referencing are Wade and Zoe, and not Lavon and Didi.  I like Didi, but she and Lavon have never been the definition of chemistry for me.  Didi and Earl, from My Name is Earl though?  I can totally see it.

  2. Wait....why does this press release not have anything about WADE on it?! Like, not even a "Wilson Bethel also stars."

  3. I certainly don't object to a Lavon episode.  Besides Zoe, he's probably the best character on the show.

  4. I like Lavon a lot too.  And his alligator.  I'd like an episode featuring him and his alligator if we get another season.

  5.  I'm always up for seeing more Burt Reynolds.  :)

  6. I agree, but thats probably because I'm a big fan of Cress

  7. I'm sort of the opposite.  Before Hart of Dixie, I hadn't been very taken with any of his performances.  Whether it was Grey's, Prison Break, or ER, nothing he did really stood out to me, but this role is different.

This is one of those situations where an actor is paired with a role that they're absolutely perfect for and Williams knocks it out of the park.

  8. Ernie Hudson as Lavon's dad! So good!
