Thanks to Sue for the heads up.
NICK AND HANK’S INVESTIGATION OF A TRAGIC MURDER LEADS TO A FIGHT CLUB UNLIKE ANY OTHER—A bizarre double homicide leads Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) to a boxing gym, which Nick discovers is a supplier for a darker, ritualistic fight club in the creature world. When Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) lends a hand and gets in over his head, Nick must dig deep and find his inner “Grimm” to defend him. Bitsie Tulloch, Sasha Roiz and Reggie Lee also star.

Sounds great! Since this is the first season, will it have only 13 episodes?
ReplyDeleteSounds a lot like the plot of an episode in Angel's first season.
ReplyDeletewhen does this air?!
ReplyDelete24th
ReplyDeleteYou can see all Episode Dates in out Episode Database

I have some catching up to do.
ReplyDeleteAnd Angel wasnt' the first. You know what they say...there're only 9 stories. :-D
ReplyDeleteThis makes me worry about Nick. His aunt never got time to give him hand to hand training.
ReplyDeleteAs a Grimm he's meant to be somewhat skilled already.
ReplyDelete"find his inner Grimm"
ReplyDeleteWhat's that supposed to mean?
I just re-watched the Ogre ep. He's not. :-D He didn't pull a Buffy and suddenly get extra-human strength or have special moves appear. He was like a rag doll. I suspect that if he does well in this ep it'll be more by fighting smart than by sheer braun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean on that level xD
ReplyDeleteI meant just generally skilled, still needs training etc. It's the only way I can see them getting around the having to train him part (unless they wait for a hiatus)
Hopefully you're right. Otherwise, Nick may not survive the ep. :-) Then I saw the press release for the next ep and it mentions an old friend of his aunt's coming to town so I just assumed that would be the source of his becoming a better fighter.
