    say goooodbye to your weak one million viewers, i love how they said chair should watch cause they saw the ratings drop LOL! now weve seen the promooooo.. im thinking 900,000 viewers? worst rated tv show in history... its there own fault for making it all about ships and not focusing in storylines that are good! if the season finale isnt a chuck and blair seen that will be weird cause every year has beeen centred on them!

    I don't think Chair is over. They will get back together sooner or later. But now it's Dair time for a few eps and I am very happy about it. Blair needs some light, easy love at this point. I really enjoy it

    Dan and Blair line is most intelligent and intriguingpeople just used to CHAIR
      its difficult to wean from old toysbut D and B grew out of them They are really fresh and pure together

    nooo i really cant! if they do i hope they manage to make it fun to watch again but i cant see that happening.. and hopefully if their is a season 6 it will only be 13 episodes!!! because i think by episode 6.24 they will only have like 100,000 viewers :|

    what i dont get is how can DB love that there together now, even i think it would have been good in season 4. but for them to be together, she never tells serena anything anymore, she is married and lost her baby, had to give up chuck cause of it.. and thats only reason she wants him :S and she is not who she was and how can people say she has grown up.. in season 4 when she was all about her career before louis that was her growing up this season she hasnt made a decision about anything.. she dropped out of college? they all did and that hasnt been addressed to become a princess!! she screwed over her best friend and made her tell dan how she feels just to kiss him after.. she played chuck.. she married someone she didnt love, she cheated on louis with dan and chuckk, correct me if im wrong anyone but she sounds like a 16 year old, cheating, screwing over her best friend, marrying for sake of it.. :|

    So my mother has a theory. And she's pretty young at heart cause she watches the show. Were both very much into Chuck and Blair and don't know where this Dan and Blair thing have come from. What ever happened to not going after your best friends guy? But anyway, they never really addressed the thing about the baby being Louis. I mean Blair said the baby was his but she never even looked at the paternity test as far as we know. I think THAT is going to be what brings her out of this silly teenage time and back to reality. My mother thinks the baby was in fact Chucks. And the fact that they just dismissed that whole paternity test thing, I would almost put money on it. Whos with me?

    sorry but it was confirmed that The father was Louis Grimaldi and she did read the paternity test in 5.03 and they confirmed it in 5.10

    but i dont think Dair will last till the end of the season i think season 5 has alot of Parellls to Season 2 and i think The Dan/Blair will be like nate/Blair and then im hoping chair reunites by the end of the season

    I am, but mostly because Dan+Blair is the most not-making-sense relationship in the whole TVShows history. I mean, really? Outsider and the beauty lady? Haven't we seen this in Hollywood like gazilion times? Boring as hell and happens only in fairy tales.

    Also, Chuck was made for Blair, as Blair was made for Chuck. I could feel the chemistry between those, when they were together, but now? Meh. 

    And what happened to Serena? I mean, she had like 20 guys, but she's always been in love with Dan, so why did she gave up so quickly? Doesn't make any sense.

    This show is getting worse and worse with every episode, really.

    THIS! and the only thing that could save it now is CHERENA. Why can the writers don't make them happen? I mean we had EVERY other couple so far. I'm rooting for Cherena since Season 1 but it never came.

    Ever since "Dair" became an issue, reading GG topic comments has turned into one of the more amusing things on Spoiler TV.  I love it.  All the posts alternate between uninhibited glee and and bitter, cloying, derision and sour grapes.  It's great theatre.

    I used to think shipping was a harmless pastime until I saw the havoc its been wreaking around these parts. This is not to say that ALL shippers are smug, childish jerks but I've been reading a lot of posts lately that have apparently been written by 5 year olds. With potty mouths.

    But I'm a jerkass who likes to point and laugh, and feel superior, so. Good times.

     It may not seem so civil or harmless anymore but I'm willing to bet that this situation has been generating a lot more comments and page views for Gossip Girl on this site than it did before "Dair" was an issue.  Whether it's negative or positive, this has definitely made people very active and very vocal about the show.

    I reallllllllly doubt Dair can breath enough life into the show to make it decent tv popcorn again, but I'll patiently give it time. It's weird but I feel like the one GG viewer that doesn't give a crap who ends up copulating or not. I do however think a lot of the chair soap opera garbage may have hurt the show, but that was the writing, frankly. Anyways, fun watching y'all bicker.

    I would hardly call dan an outsider at this point... Although I agree, I get that Serena and Blair are trying to be more mature blahblah but hopefully Serena doesn't give up on Dan, as I consider the chances the show will introduce an amazing male character for her to date as being very low (probably just some other loser creepball).. S's storylines have been pretty lame lately, but god help me her hair is just so pretty... Ahahah
