Last week we went through what turned out to be an escalated fringe event that had so many influential occurrences behind it, I was practically shouting out "Jacksonville!" and numerous other titles the entire time. It was a fantastic episode, brimming with action and great moments for the characters, but most of all, who was blown away by that ending!? Confession: I won't say that anything in this episode actually surprised me... I would say that it fell into line with what I was HOPING might happen, which is not a bad thing at all. It was like predicting what you WANT to happen, and then seeing it happen.
ANYWAY, I gotta keep this concise so let's move it along!
A BETTER HUMAN BEING
At this point, honestly I'm not sure what to expect. I never saw the full commercial for tonight's episode and I have been busy all week so I am not even sure I can guess exactly what the title is referring to. All I know is our Olivia and the alternate timeline Olivia are merging. And also, Nina "got sum 'splainin' to do!" I wanna know what's up with Nina, The Observers, (Mainly September!!!) if the timelines are merging, and if that could have DISASTROUS consequences, and also if I'm ever going to be subject to seeing Alt-Astrid cry again. (Yes, it's still tearing me up inside from 4.11)...
So, the question is...

Fringe always keeps me guessing. Olivia remembering Peter is what I've been waiting for since the season premiere. However, now that I've got it, I'm wondering what strings are attached. There has to be a nasty turn waiting at the end of this road. The PTB are just cruel like that.

ReplyDeleteIt's actually a look through the hall into Olivia's bedroom. So you see September and his reflection. Or at least that was my intention when I place him there and added his reflection to the mirror! XD

ReplyDeleteI thinks it's bad to some degree. I think it's memory transference and not just simply "Olivia remembers", but rather she is receiving our Olivia's memories and is starting to believe she is those memories (which makes sense as our memories are what makes us each unique) --But Peter already guessed in "And Those He Left Behind" that his arrival "here" may be causing some of these "time displacement" things to happen and exponentially may be destroying this universe faster than it originally had. --The universes may not like "two" of the same exact Olivia's existing in two times (one already written) at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I also think that Peter needs his crow bar to get home, and that his Olivia may trying to find a way to find him, and both of their wish fulfillments are causing this quantum entanglement ("6B")
