Wow, that conversation is painful in it's awkwardness. It's like they able to hold off all the awkwardness of their situation because Peter was very emphatic about the fact that this Olivia wasn't his Olivia, and put up an almost awkward-proof dam between them. But the awkward was still there, behind the wall, building up in power, and then came Westfield, and suddenly, there's a crack. And then bam! Olivia kisses Peter, the crack becomes a giant gaping hole, and now everybody's just drowning in awkward.
I expected the episode to start off with Olivia saying she remembered everything (that's the impression the promo gave), but I went back to the promo and if you look at the background when she says she remembers everything it's at Peter's house (I believe anyway).
So I'm guessing that that revelation will be at the end of the episode and leave us on another cliffhanger, ugh! But I trust the writer's to use this episode to not draw it out and do something meaningful in it. I just hate cliffhangers. Wish I could time-travel lol.
She'll keep the truth to herself for most of the episode, all the time remembering what happened between Peter and Olivia and giving Peter longing glances when he's not looking before finally telling him what's really going on.
You have to understand Peter's reluctance to believe, he's been burnt before!... By another Olivia.. Lol One can only get away with this types of comment because of Fringe!
Olivia always lies and then later tells the truth about her person situations. She says she's fine, and she never is but Peter always asks anyway (I really do have a goal to clip together every time he asks in the series). He knew she was lying when he asked her if an Observer contacted her. She still is hiding that and obviously it could come o light very soon. As for her remembering, well. She is remembering. Not residual effects. Just orange inverting back to blue starting with her because of her ability. That's what I believe, anyway.
I hope you are right. If a show ever deserved a happier ending it is fringe. Walter, Olivia, and Peter all deserve something good happening for a change.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh, Olivia. You're a bad liar. "Residual effects" my ass.
