This show seems a long time coming from the pilot to this trio of episodes. Like the pilot it doesn't *quite* feel like Douglas Adams, no-one can quite replicate his humour imo, but is still enjoyable to watch. A few things make it from the books to the show, it's like watching out for Easter Eggs. I'm itching to read the 2 (and a half) books again after seeing this thou.

ReplyDeleteI recognize one of the two guys from Case Sensitive .. but I love BBC's shows in general so I'll be more than happy to watch this..
ReplyDeleteDirk Gently... This has loads of potential, but I doubt I'll like the actual result. Maybe I can just accept the fact that the books will be unreached and enjoy it nonetheless. But a couple of hours of intense meditation are definitely required for me to achieve this state of mind.
