Yay, Alan Matthews is in this episode!
ReplyDelete(Yes, that's all I got out of it.)
Mr. Matthews!
ReplyDeleteyay! Jack is in this episode! XD
ReplyDeleteWell, William Russ aka Alan Matthews is like my fourth favorite TV dad, right under Alan Thicke as Papa Seaver
ReplyDeleteYes, I loved Jason Seaver!
ReplyDeleteYay...Bellamy Young (Beth) AGAIN.....Erica Messer certainly does have a giant hardon for this Hotch happiness storyline...and just bare with me while I rant....but it's pissing me off.....I loved dark, broody, intense, dangerous Hotch.....did I say intense......these charateristics made him my favorite character ...now he's all smiling mister frigging I'm training for a marathon, starting a relationship with this stranger beyotch Hotch. Yes....I'm saying it I hate Erica....she's ruined Hotch.
ReplyDeleteIs Hotch supposed to be miserable all the time? What's wrong with a little happiness? I cannot believe someone's complaining because a character is actually happy! So random.
ReplyDeleteShe hasn't ruined Hotch. He's still dark, broody and intense he's just no longer so miserable he's making those around him suicidal. This isn't the first time we've seen a happy, smiling, less intense Hotch outside of work. The very first glimpse we get of Hotch in the pilot episode he's building a crib and having a sweet and joking coversation about baby names with his wife. I'm glad they've finally allowed something good to happen for Hotch and that we're getting to see it. That man has been to hell and back.
ReplyDeleteWell someone is complaining....ME....I have a problem with how his character has changed ....if you don't good for you, just because you disagree..it does not invalidate my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI don't think his character's changed all that much - And I don't understand how him being happy is suddenly the WORST THING EVER. EVER.
ReplyDeleteLOL, complaining about a character being happy after angsty-ness is literally a new one. And I wasn't invalidating your opinion - I'm just surprised that a character's happiness is pissing someone off.
True....we did see Hotch "building cribs" and interacting with his wife...this is how we were introduced to his character...but since then, Foyet happened and Hotch evolved. In my opinion, this storyline ruins the potential for great team interaction and the focus should be on profiling. The whole Beth/Hotch storyline is predictable, seems forced and is out of character for Hotch. . Messer wants Hotch to smile, he can smile as he is focusing on his child........My problem is the way Beth is being shoved down my throat, I'm selfish I want the focus to be on the main characters....on any given episode one of the main characters barely has a speaking role and now she's bringing in a new character....who is going to appear this season more than Haley ever did.
ReplyDeleteHow is Beth being shoved down your throat? So far, she's only been in one episode. This is another one, but still. And I don't think she'll be in the show more than Haley ever was.
ReplyDeleteYou like HAPPINESS and I like Angst...that's why everything I write is MY opinion.
ReplyDeleteI love angst! But I also love happiness. I don't get why a character being happy is a bad thing, though. That's all.
ReplyDeleteRead Messer's interviews....
ReplyDeleteI DON'T LIKE BETH...IT DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T LIKE HOTCH SMILING....HE CAN SMILE WITH HIS KID AND WITH HIS TEAM (JJ MAKES HIM SMILE VERY OFTEN).... I JUST THINK THIS WHOLE STORYLINE WITH BETH ISN'T NATURAL IT SEEMS FORCED JUST TO FIND SOMEONE FOR HOTCH ...PLS LET HIM STAY ALONE AND BY THE WAY WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR EXPLORATION OF HOTCH AND JJ BOND WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN SEASON 7? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH EXPLORATION? IN THE LAST 4-5 EPISODES THEY BARELY TALK.......WE ARE WAITING ... WE ARE PATIENT AND WE WILL BE WAITING
ReplyDeleteBeth with Jack is the end of the line. Thanks for ruining my perfect show, Erica Messer. Another episode I won't be watching.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for boyfriends and girlfriends for the rest of the team too, or is this show only about Hotch and random eps for the other profilers? This used to be a really well written Criminal TV Show, for Gods sake!
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to see Hotch in this episodes.
ReplyDeleteand than she turns out to be Hotch's halfsister... Well I do not hate her, Hotch or Erica, but I agree with you the subplot story itself lacks the quality of substance. And I noticed, Thomas Gibson really wants (praises her high) B.Young as a regular actor on the show. My conclusion from his numerous interviews. It seems to me, TG puts now a large part of his own beliefs into the fictional Hotch character and that influence takes its toll.
