    I like that they switch between present and future and not just have the entire episode in the 1940's.

    Exactly my thoughts! The whole episode in the 1940's would be like a dream or a "if/then"... already done a thousand times.
    I like that they reinterpret an old case to solve a current murder and that viewers see the Castle's version as a writer inspired by his relationships within the squad.
    The parallel between the two periods should lead to very funny situations! :-)

    All these promos, it feels like sweeps week.  I'm looking forward to this episode but wonder if it is going to be mainly flashback with some current scenes or are they going to spend about an equal amount of time in both.  It would be a waste of those gorgeous costumes to not spend a lot of quality time in the 40's.
