Buoyed by the strong reception Touch received with its winter sneak peek, Fox has moved the Kiefer Sutherland drama’s official season premiere to Thursday, March 22, at 9/8c, where it will remain and lead out of American Idol.
To make way for the newbie, Bones will unspool the remainder of its seventh season on Mondays at 8 pm, beginning April 2. (Previously, Bones was to return from Emily Deschanel’s maternity leave-induced hiatus on April 5.)

Irrationally angry over this. I love the Thursday schedule! Now I'll have to choose between this and HIMYM and it's a very hard choice.

Why can't they just leave well enough alone....Or why can't Fox just move there damn news to 11pm like everyone else,then it would also give them another primtime hour to fill.I hate just having 2 hrs a night on ch.5......

ReplyDeleteLuckily Pretty Little Liars will be done by then cause my PVR already tapes 5 things on Monday nights! Doesn't bother me as long as I can tape it in HD :D Been watching Buffy season 3 just to see David Boreanaz on my TV

ReplyDeleteAt House's peak, the 2-hour Bones / House block Tuesdays on FOX was the best night of TV the network had. Now, FOX is just throwing these two shows to the wolves. CBS is going to stomp all over these two in the ratings. Bones' ratings are going to get ugly without the Idol lead-in.

ReplyDeleteThis season Bones is on my maybe watch this summer list even though it had be appointment TV for most seasons. I'm actually glad for this switch. I already watch Castle and Bones makes a good lead-in so I might watch it more regularly.

ReplyDeleteThis will definitely hurt Bone's ratings but they are having the baby when they return and a new era of Bones is about to begin with Brennan taking care of a baby. Why they are changing the night to Monday's is beyond me especially against 2 1/2 Men and the Voice that is stupid. We have all of that at 8 p.m. central here and that just messes things up but I do have DVR so I can just tape it. Bones is my favorite show and I really will not ever tape it unless my kids or husband make it quite unbearable to see my show, or some very major event happens and I am not at home. I have already written it on my calender and my husband will be home that night and my kids will be home so I have to plan to nuke their dinner or order Pizza that night and get the kids ready early. Oh what fun and how boring I must be to plan around my favorite show and that preparation. But I usually tape my Castle and watch it the next day, but my Bones I like to catch it straight off the network and Fresh as it airs!! Got To Have My Bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaaa, HOOOH
