Autumn Reeser, who co-starred on ABC's No Ordinary Family last season, will return to the network in Shawn Ryan's drama pilot Last Resort, Deadline reports.
The project follows a U.S. nuclear submarine crew led by Capt. Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher), who defies orders to fire nuclear missiles. As a result, they set up a camp on an island that is home to a NATO listening station. Reeser will play Kylie, a lobbyist for her family's weapons manufacturing company.
"Just booked an amazing role in @ShawnRyanTV's pilot 'Last Resort'... so excited!! :) :) :)" Reeser tweeted Thursday night.

ReplyDeleteI will be watching this since Shawn Ryan makes some of the best shows on TV (The Shield, Terriers, The Chicago Code) in the past decade or so... and Andre Braugher is one of the most underrated actors of my lifetime...

ReplyDeleteThis i will be checking out,love Andre for years now so i am very happy to be seeing him again.I have no idea who Autumn is so i looked her up and i had to laugh,i haven't seen her i anything she has been in.I must be getting old,Ha! Shawn Ryan i also had to look up,him i rememberbut not very impressed.I hope this turns out to be an exciting show,it could go either way.
