Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle will be reruns on January 26th, and Supernatural will be a rerun on the 27th.

    Normally, I'd be angry about another SPN rerun, but that's the night of Chuck's series finale, and I want to see all of it.

    But February sweeps better have four episodes in a row!

    I recall reading somewhere (was it here?) that there would be a Supernatural rerun on the 20th. So is this as well as, or instead of? *is confused*

    Probably so they have enough episodes to show during February and May sweeps.  It's always a toss up, get a few episodes then reruns or have a longer winter break.

    That's usually why they schedule repeats at the end of January - so they can block out an all-new run of episodes for February sweeps.

    this sucks only because the week before that supernatural has re runs to what the hell is going on? after a long hiatus it comes back for 2 episodes and then another hiatus.

    Okay, so I have an idea for The CW, please make all shows have at least 26 episodes. Start them all at the same time, the second Monday of September, take the whole month of December off and come back from break with no hiatus until April, to rev up for May sweeps and finales, I think this would give more momentum to your line up. I know that some shows have a longer post-production time due to vfx but, maybe they could use them more sparingly and and save them for the biggest game changer episodes only (the first episode and the mid-season finale, the return from winter hiatus and the season finale). Just a thought.
