True Blood - Season 5 - Claude Cast

Newcomer Giles Matthey has landed the multi-episode role of a hot and mysterious British fairy. One report has him catching Jessica’s attention, but that’s not confirmed. Claude was previously played (briefly) by Neil Hopkins (Lost) on the show.

In the books, Claude is described as “the nephew of Sookie’s half-human/half-fairy grandfather, Fintan, and cousin to Sookie’s father … He makes an impact on all women and is described as being absolutely breathtaking … He started out as a stripper at Hooligans, a club in Monroe, which he later becomes owner of, and has branched out to print and runway modeling … Women usually say “wow” when they see him, but his interest is men.”

    I suppose he looks kind of dapper. It could work. Wish I was more excited for True Blood. Maybe when the summer nears. Or maybe I just don't like the show as much anymore? IDK.

    Hmmm I hope it isn´t true that Claude and Jessica will have a fling. I like the books and I´m not a big fan of all the changes. I´m gonna hate If Claude is gonna be a nice guy that is into girls.

    I adore Claude's character in the books and the guy the producers cast looks the part :) Makes me even more excited for the upcoming season

    I usually end up getting roped back in when it airs because there isn't much else on but I think this year I will struggle with it

    Yeah, it's too bad. I like the campy nature of the show but sometimes it's a little too camp. Like B-movie grade stuff. They just need to streamline some of the story. Tighten it up a little bit. It's too all over the place with the amount of characters they have.

    And I read the books and really like E/S stuff in it but it didn't really work in the show. It was disappointing. :/
