  3. I guess I was being too optimistic about an ABC Family show.  They can be enjoyable but they're certainly not without significant flaws.

  4. I agree that some of the l=plot lines are quite contrived and hackneyed, but I like how the writers have put an interesting spin on most of them.

    My theory for this one will be: he's accused of murder but it was actually self defence; or he was the intended victim and then he got set up for it by random bad guys.

  5. Because Toby lets him get away with it! Lots of kids get labelled by teachers and peers when they're in primary school, and end up acting out to fit the label of bad boy or class clown etc. Daphne has (had?) higher expectations of him and he likes that, and is eager and glad to show another side of himself.
