ReplyDeleteSTILL FLAILING SO HARD RIGHT NOW. I AM SO SO FREAKING HAPPY.
should totally put up the video.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, Supernatural fans united cannot be stopped. I'm glad the show is getting at least some recognition and kudos to the cast and crew for all their hard work. I appreciate all they do for us.
ReplyDeleteSquuuuuueeee! Happy Dancing! Happy Dancing! Happy Dancing!

ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteOMFG I am totally crazy! We are the powerful fandom!
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!! I will NEVER complain about voting again EVER. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteAwesome news for our wonderful show. We RULE!!
Wait. They got their awards already?
ReplyDeleteWhy am I watching the awards then?
I'm watching "Best daytime tv show host" but "Best Drama Television" doesn't make it onto the show?
Ugh....
And now the obsessive compulsive in me wants to know how many votes we won by LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm recording it now... do you think they'll air the recording on the show? (I'm sure it will turn up on youtube shortly if it hasn't already)
ReplyDeleteThat's what usually happens when people can't accept the award in person.
Just edited to add the YouTube video.
ReplyDeleteI think J2 had to work, so thus they couldn't come.
ReplyDeleteare they going to show the acceptance video during the awards? :(
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I did post the video, so you can at least see it!
ReplyDeleteCan the CW please acknowledge this at least twice Friday. I mean come on a show in the worst slot ever is arguably the 2nd or 3rd best show (2nd if you consider friday factor and the DVR ratings, 3rd going by just live+same day numbers). Any other night the show would hands down be the 2nd best rated show on the Network.
ReplyDeleteThey have already mention it on their twitter, no let's let them know the should acknowledge it during the primetime. I mean honestly there should be a promo for it during tomorrows vampire diaries and secret circle.
@CW_network
Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so. Favorite Network Drama surely deserves some airtime. After all, that's why everyone voted - to get Supernatural's name out there.
ReplyDeleteYAY!! whoot whoot!!
ReplyDeleteThey're airing tonight!?!?!?! If so, Dang It! I forgot to set the DVR. :-(
ReplyDeleteOkay. I have questions:
I thought they were up for three awards?
Why was the announcement on the pre-show? Are they going to be snubbed in the broadcast?
HUZZAH!! That's awesome. I have to tell the friend I was arguing with about this. weeeee.
You can watch the recorded Pre-Show on the PCA's facebook page. the acceptance is at about 1hr and 10 minutes in, close to the end of the show.
ReplyDeleteI kind of had a spaz out moment and I went running upstairs to call my sister (I need privacy to fan!girl properly)... My husband was like WTH?! I just told him I forgot something... As soon as he sees the result, he will KNOW what made me run up there like I was 16 years old (instead of 40+). My sister, my mother (turned 75 years old in December), and I voted tons nearly every day... That turned into every day after "the video". Love you guys! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteOMG !YES YES YES! I AM CRYING HERE THEY WON ALL THAT VOTING PAYED OFF YES GOD I AM SO HAPPY NOW!
ReplyDeleteI voted for Fringe. Still, good for all you Supernatural fans.
ReplyDeleteFINALLY SUPERNATURAL WINS AN AWARD!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it's because they weren't there to accept. They tend to skip the awards that no stars can show up for. But we still won!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hoped they would win at least one -- but I'm ecstatic they got both!! I watched the awards show and figured with the entire cast of the Vampire Diaries sitting in the front row, they had won one or both of the awards. They announced the Sci-Fi award at least but I had to go to the website to find out about the Fav Network Drama. I know they weren't able to be there and the telecast obviously doesn't present an award with no stars there to pick it up (which is why I ran to my computer after the telecast to check cuz they DIDN'T announce this major category) and I'm so happy to see we pulled it off, but would it have killed them to actually acknowledge it on air? Hopefully we'll see a 'congratulations' ad on the CW. Ostroff would've never done it, but I'm hoping the new Prez will actually acknowledge his fan favorite show!! Still, I'm stoked!! Congrats to the cast and crew and way to go fans of Supernatural!!!
ReplyDeleteClif Kosterman just tweeted the reason the boys weren't there to accept the awards : They weren't even invited!!! Network Drama is a kinda big deal. That SUCKS OUT LOUD!!! Once again Supernatural gets shafted. Once more it's only the dedication of the fans that counts.
ReplyDeleteAnd people wonder why I think the PCAs are a joke.... XD
ReplyDeleteYes I'm so happy about this!!!! Finally getting the awards it deserves!!!
ReplyDeleteJesus, this whole show is a freakin' joke. Left and right there were stupid "skits" that never ended but they can't get the winners for Best Drama a seat in the audience? Dang.
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't so happy with how well Kaley Cuoco did this evening, I'd feel
thats awsome i hope they get picked up for an 8th season
ReplyDeleteCongrats to cast & crew of Supernatural !!!! You did it and thanks fans as well
ReplyDeleteYou're kidding me! I know that Fav TV SciFi/Fantasy award is never presented "live" but Fav TV Drama always is... I recorded it and FF'd through it but never saw the Fav TV Drama category even mentioned but I might have missed it and I certainly didn't see the pre-recorded video. I do know that The CW didn't have great night - only Nina Dobrev won Best Drama Actress and all the their new shows made the best new show category but didn't win.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if during TVD and SPN this week and next The CW will mention their wins.
yay! they deserve it :)
ReplyDeleteYes, even though I was skipping through from what I saw Kaley did a great job ... she seems very relaxed and funny. It just burns me up that Paul W, Nina and Ian S were present - Ian and Nina were up for best actor/actress and TVD was against SPN for both awards that SPN "took home". Why did "Supernatural" not know far enough in advance that the show won Favorite Drama; the voting stopped about a month ago (?) so the boys could be there to accept their award in person.
ReplyDeleteThe video was aired during the 'red carpet' part of the event - before the ceremony actually started. Apparently the girls from Pretty Little Liars read out the Network Drama award, but the video wasn't played.
ReplyDeleteI must have missed that. I heard the PLL gals announcing Fav SciFi as SPN but not drama. Did the PLL gals also list the other nominees because that's the better part, winning over four other shows? Clif seemed to pissed off that the Js weren't notified/invited (I read some of his tweets).
ReplyDeleteI also read that the "red carpet" portion is on the PCA Facebook page but the video link is fine.
Could you direct me to his twitter? I'm interested in what he said. lol
ReplyDeleteIt's not possible to be MORE happy than I am now! Congratulations guys! You deserve it SO much!
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/#!/bodyguard4JandJ
ReplyDeleteIts only one side of the conversation, he seems to have either signed off or moved on to other stuff but he made a few annoyed comments.
Well, look... the CW DOES care (marginally...)
ReplyDeleteThis was the first People's Choice Awards I have watched. This is the last. If I wanted to watch an endless string of infomercials instead of the actual winners, I'd just flip channels. An utter disgrace of a show.
ReplyDeleteI thought they only read the Best Sci Fi category and nothing was said about Best Drama at all. I watched most of that flipping 2 hour waste of my life and didn't hear anything about Best Network Drama.
ReplyDeleteWow. A banner on a website not exclusively devoted to CW shows. They are pulling out all the stops these days, what with the huge number of promos too. Perhaps the CW does understand (marginally...) that Supernatural should not be ignored. I hope this is reflected in future marketing and renewal decisions.
ReplyDeleteThe writing was horrible (Kaley's I mean) They had some cast reading some of the results because they didn't have time to put it all on the air but the amount of filler was staggering. I almost think it was a better show the year of the strike when Queen Latifah read the results from a book. Geez.
ReplyDeleteRegarding their invitation...if Supernatural were on one of the big four I bet they would have been in the house. grrrr
They were only up for two awards and they won both. The announcement was on the pre-show red carpet special on a cable channel called RELZ that no one I know has ever heard of. Supernatural was mentioned as winning Best Sci Fi in a little montage of several awards in a segment that was more about the Pretty Little Liars cast than any of the winners. To my knowledge nothing was said at all about Supernatural winning Best Network Drama in the actual show on CBS. If you forgot to set your DVR, consider it good karma because then you unlike me did not waste 2 hours of your life watching a CVS pharmacy commercial on beauty products while seeing people style their hair with Pantene after eating Honey Oat cereal.
ReplyDeleteawww. I'm sorry 2 hours of your life were wasted. ;-) I forgot about the time difference. It was on when I got home. I'm not too surprised the Best Sci Fi award wasn't announced on the air but I am really surprised the Best Network Drama one wasn't. The logic of that escapes me.
ReplyDeleteI'm over the moon that Supernatural won it's two categories.
ReplyDeleteI know these awards are considered of very inferior importance compared to others, but any publicity at all is to be well accepted!
I can't believe that they didn't award the Best Network Drama! Is that not supposed to be the most important?
Nor can' I believe that there was no-one from the Supernatural troupe that could be there to accept an award, even one of the writers!
However Jared and Jensen made such a cute video asking us to vote and I'm glad they showed their legs for a reason.:-()
I'm sure a big thank you must go out to all the world-wide fans who gave their support and vote to Supernatural.
How is that even possible. Not invited when they knew that Supernatural had won the category!
ReplyDeleteThe Best Drama is the most important tv-wise.
Jared was going to be in LA today for the TCA thing so he could easily have arrived a day earlier to accept the award!
There are just some things that are unexplainable, "supernatural" you might say!
Maybe I'm confused and it was the other way around. Once I saw the video during the red carpet broadcast I didn't watch the actual show.
ReplyDeleteCool beans, but really, get it together ppl
ReplyDeleteKind of amazing that a show that has such a low viewership won over shows that on paper have a lot more followers.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for them but it's simply outrageous that they haven't even been invited. Makes me so angry.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! It should go a long way to help them get an 8th season!
ReplyDeleteHey everyone don't be sad or angry that the biggies don't recognize OUR BOYS. As long as we do and will forever LOVE OUR SHOW that is what counts. Everybody say it with me "OUR SHOW ROCKS"!!KUDOS KISSES HUGS HIGH FIVES TO JARED, JENSEN,AND BABY!
ReplyDeleteHi i'm French and i love SUPERNATURAL too, unfortunately in france supernatural is not very famous and we are in the 5 th season only. Thanks to the streaming video i am in the 7 th season and i love this show and i'm very happy that they won two people choice award 2012.
BBC website have Neil Patrick Harris down as winning his PCA for his role on Supernatural. The BBC employer of brilliant minds!
ReplyDeleteI should be mentioned for a week in prime time..WE WON. lol Doing my HAPPY DANCE.
ReplyDeleteI did DVR is and did see Nina Dobrev win Best Drama Actress and she was a write in also, but today will go watch the rest, it was SOOOOOO boring and dumb and that is what DVRs are far to cut that kind of junk out. If J2 was not on the broadcast then I won't have to bother.
ReplyDeleteSeems they did know since they made the video and were holding the awards. I have never watched a PCA show and the little I did see last night was awful.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone on SUPERNATURAL, Jared & Jensen for playing the Winchester brothers, the best ones on TV, all the excellent guest actors that make this show so awesome, Jim Beaver, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard & all the Angels, Demons and of course Death & Lucifer. I could not be happier this morning. Great job to us all for this win. lol
ReplyDeleteSO proud right now :) It was especially nice to see them beat out the usual big guns, like Grey's Anatomy and House. Congratulations, boys!
ReplyDeletewell, and everyone else of course :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, this deserves some serious credit.. it beat out the network's biggest show (TVD).. IN BOTH CATEGORIES. Stand up and take notice, CW.. the people have spoken.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there was nothing about Best Network TV drama during the show, but the PLL girls did actually announce the winner for Sci-fi/Fantasy show...(And then proceeded to show how awful they are at acting by trying really hard to say "yay!" lol)
ReplyDeleteWell...Even though I suspect it's just my cookies making these pop up everywhere...
ReplyDeleteHere is an interesting article related to the SPN PC wins..
ReplyDeletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/laura-prudom/supernatural-peoples-choice-awards_b_1201590.html?ref=tv
I must have the same cookies. Good to know that everyone who already watches Supernatural will know how popular it is with its fans. Now if we could just get the word out to everyone else.
ReplyDeleteIt seems impossible. When it wins awards, it's never televised. :|
ReplyDeleteAnd it's getting a bit old as well...
That is a perfect article for how I feel about this situation. Well, maybe if it had more expletives.
ReplyDeleteI mean SPN DOES show on the CW which is half-owned by CBS... Ugh...
Congratulations, boys, on this momentous occasion! I bet they wish they could have been there in person. That is why we love them as much as we do! What a wonderful way to start off the second half of this awesome season!
ReplyDeleteJared and Jensen were NOT invited to the PCA's so they had to accept the awards via video.
ReplyDeleteBeing that Supernatural Won Favorite Sci/Fi Show 2 Years in a row, you would think that the people at the PCA's would I don't know actually invite them to the award show?! Nope! Clif Kosterman their bodyguard tweeted that they were NOT invited so they had to accept the awards via video.
ReplyDeleteBut the PCA's can invite the entire VD cast not to be rude to them, I'm sure their awesome but come on PCA's really?! So disappointed.
