The boys are certainly going to have to get more creative now that they don't have Bobby to fall back on :( *moment of silence* I'm glad we're going to pick up with Sam's own personal hell - it was strange to toss it out there and then leave it alone, so I'm glad they're going to pay it some attention. It can't be easy to deal with!
Looking forward to seeing what they do with Misha - I'm glad to have him back on board, in whatever form they give him. I'm also excited for Friday's episode! I know it's been criticized a lot so far, though it hasn't even premiered, but the 1940s is one of my favorite time periods to explore. So if nothing else, the history nerd in me is very excited.
I'm ambivalent about Garth, nervous about Misha, and stoked for everything else. An episode where your childhood dreams come true sounds awesome. Plus, I have no clown fear so I think I can watch the show without getting too creeped out...maybe. Anything 40's is already a plus so I'm glad they were able to be miracle workers to get this week's episode produced.
Ditto. Also thrilled with what Sera says about 'love interests'. The LAST thing Supernatural needs (at any time, but specifically now) is romance. Thanks Sera - I knew we could count on you.
Sounds really cool. I'm not on the list of people who've hated everything they've tried this season. But I have learned the hard way (the Campbell family) not to read to much into her arc descriptions. So, I'm going to go into a wait and see holding pattern with regard to the Sam & his maintenance story. The childhood nightmare story sounds really interesting. Looking forward to that one.
Thanks for the interview but I not chomping at the bit for another dose of Garth unless he works with both brothers and not only follow Dean around like a groupie, one "Superfan" (Becky) was annoying enough.
I'm sorry, but I find the reason they killed Bobby, stupid... Fine, the boys need to start thinking on their own, but this wasn't a reason to kill off Bobby... They could leave him in a coma, give him amnesia, sth like this to put him aside for a while, they didn't have to kill him... Yeah, I'm still pissed...
I get the impression they regard any girl the boys interact with in a friendly manner as 'love interests'
Dean has had Melanie from episode 7 and has another coming up in episode 13, if you count Jo and the bar girl in DYL as and the girl Dean flirted with in SSTFAW then one could say Dean has had a pretty good season on the 'romance' front.
I guess they would count Amy as one for Sam
I have a feeling the writers arent done with trying to set up a more permenant romace on the show, in particular for Dean.
I wonder will this Nora character SG mentioned be a young and attractive someone? If so how long before they start pushing to hook Dean up again?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I absolutely cannot wait for any of this!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this weeks episode. The one about childhood nightmares seems interesting and I'm psyched that Garth will be back
ReplyDeleteIt never quite pans out on screen the way the writers describe so I'll hold off on the excitement for now.

yeahhhh I'm not looking forward to the clowns haha..
ReplyDeleteThanks for this :)
ReplyDeleteI kinda wanna see Sam work with Garth simply for the size difference
ReplyDeleteBut most of the time it turns out pretty good for those really out there episodes
ReplyDeleteSo psyched that Garth is coming back, I loved him!!
ReplyDeleteAnd really, clowns? That is so not cool!!
I'm just a huge Misha fan in general, so I can't wait to see what he'll be doing. Though I am hoping Castiel in some way!
thanks for the heads, up. Not sure how to feel, I am not that crazy about the Garth thing.

ReplyDeleteMore Garth? Really? If they're going to bring him back, this show had better give him some better material to work with.
ReplyDeleteI say that when Ben Edlund writes drama, his comedy episodes are hit or miss for me.

ReplyDeleteI actually think killing Bobby was a really good move. I like him, but he sometimes seemed like too much of a Deux Ex Machina.
