“SUPERNATURAL” - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“Repo Man” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DOUBLE TROUBLE — Four years ago, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) helped a woman named Nora (guest star Nicole Oliver) exorcise a demon that was systematically killing women in a small town. They managed to save the postal worker, Jeffrey (guest star Russell Sams), while vanquishing the demon but now it seems the black-eyed monster has reared his ugly head and returned for a second helping. The brothers visit Jeffrey, who has been locked in a psych ward since the incident, to see if he can remember any of the demon’s plans while he was possessed.. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (##715).

  2. And Mark Pellegrino returns! Sounds like Sam, Interrupted 2, only this one is written by Edlund

  3. Four years ago?  So that's what they were doing during the writers' strike.  Good to know.  I wish it were during their teens though so we could get some great flash backs.  It appears we are going to have many mental institutions in our future.  If they are as creepy as Asylum, I am all over that.

  4. Can't wait it sounds like it gonna be good, but then again what's not good about Supernatural love this show

  5. Seems fairly interesting.  I always like loony bin episodes.

  6. Great, something to look forward to a Ben Edlund script.

  7. Looking forward to it

  8. That sounds good, I don't remember the last episode involving demons (besides Crowley), I think it was the one where lisa and ben get kidnapped ?  Anyway, looking forward to it.

  10. Or would that be during the fourth season when Sam and Dean were on their hunting kick?  After Anna and Dean's hell confession, they worked nonstop for a month, so it could be that. Or does the time jump from the fifth to sixth season doesn't count because they didn't keep up with the dates in the show?  Because I thought during the writers' strike we were suppose to believe that brothers were tracking down everything and anything to break Dean out of his deal, so they weren't doing much hunting. I don't know.  The time jump really really bugs me because in the first few seasons they matched dates so perfectly like the fires and investigations usually matched the air date (I always smile when I see the date on the paper in "Lazarus Rising").  I miss that. Oh, well. But I'm still confused! Haha!

Anyway, I agree about seeing jobs when the brothers when they were teens. I like the flashbacks and I think it would be really interesting to see some of the jobs the brothers worked building up to Sam leaving for school.

  11. We saw demons in "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding."  But a small part of me can understand why you probably don't remember it.  Becky was totally more of a bad person than the demon.  I liked Guy.  He was fun!  But Becky overshadows everything in the episode for me which is disappointing because there were so many other characters in that episodes way more interesting and not so creepy.

  12. Yeah, I'm hoping they remembered that they had a time jump.

  13. Good 'ol fashioned demon hunting. :)

  14. There's one big problem with this. What happened to Crowley keeping demons out of the brother's way?

Shouldn't any demon see it's them and clear out?

    ReplyDelete
  15. There's no way for Crowley to keep every single demon in check. In ep 708, Guy knew about Crowley's orders and decided to stay in town when Sam arrived.

  16. Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. Probably one of the weakest demon episodes.

  17. This one sounds interesting, I'm not sure what to make of or how it fits with the grand scheme of things this season but I guess thats why I have to watch the episode to find out. I forget MP is back in this episode. Also wasnt this Nora character mentioned in an interview earlier in the season, she was said to be making recurring appearances helping Sam and Dean? Bonus points if we get a surprise visit from Mark Sheppard too.

Please dont disappoint, I'm looking forwards to this one esp since it looks like the start of Sam's descent in to insanity and its written by Ben Edlund.

  18. Yes, the flashbacks would have been good, especially as Colin Ford is just at the right age and is still affordable for the show's expenses budget.

Then it's nice to see Sam before all the demon stuff hit him.
It would br great if they could find a perfect fit for a younger Dean  and give us a couple of iconic episodes like " A Very Supernatural Christmas."

  19. Well, it is an Edlund Ep, so my hopes are higher than usual :D

  20. I wanted to reply to Matan Bahar but the freaky reply button doesn't want to comply for some reason.

Anyway, just to say that Sam Interrupted was the first thought that came into my head too, an episode that sometimes gets overloooked a little but which I really enjoyed.

Now that you tell me that Repo Man will be witten by Edlund, I can just imagine what letting him loose in an asylum could have done to his creative juices.
Maybe we''l get some over the top hallucinations! :)

  21. While I am looking forward to Sam's moment in the spotlight, I'm sad that he has had to give in to insanity, as he has suffered enough.

Through his insanity however, we may get a better look into what makes Sam tick and get to understand him better.
While we know just about everything concerning Dean' s character, for me Sam still remains a bit of an unknown quantity.

I agree. So looking forward to the return of Mark/Lucifer (and very hopefully) Mark/Crowley. :)

  22. I cant beleive I've actually miised demons on the show. Oh for the simpler days.

  23. with Colin getting older they're somewhat limited to the age they can make a young Sam and therefore with Dean its even harder. If they have a 14-16 year old Sam which Colin can easily play then Dean would be 18-20 and he'd have to look more like JA's Dean. Thats just going to be hard to cast.

  24. sounds great :) so excited for Ben Edlund's

  25. "this Nora character mentioned in an interview earlier in the season, she
was said to be making recurring appearances helping Sam and Dean"

I'd love for Nora to be some kind of shrink, then it would make sense for her to be recurring since Sam is suppossed to be committed later in the season. Image that he doesn't get a magic fix for his hallucinations, but the RL one - therapy XD
If he tells her what he sees (Lucifer, chains ...), her reaction could be hillarious (kinda like the one in Sam Interrupted where Sam and Dean honestly talk about their life/problems to a non-hunter psychaitrist)

  26. Very interesting! Love it! Can't wait;)

  27. You're quite right that it wouldn't be easy,  but if they did manage to find someone who fits the bill they could use the flash-back idea more often, something that I feel appeals to a lot of viewers.

    It certainly does to me.

Then I think it's all a question of getting used to the eventual actor; look how everyone loved the young John actor.
They got him spot-on and I'm sure it wasn't easy to find a look-alike for J. D. Morgan

  28. Sounds interesting.. thanks!

  29. I've missed Lucifer!  And I don't think I'll ever get over how weird that sounds..

    ReplyDelete
  30. they could go younger I suppose, a younger Dean would be easier to cast than a late teen Dean and they could just get a younger Sam and not use Colin.

    ReplyDelete
  31. :P that's okay, earlier this season I told my mom that I was in love with Lucifer and that I wanted to marry the King of Hell...she answered me that we needed to talk.....

    ReplyDelete
  32. Three cheers for Mark P's return! Is it twisted to say that this makes me real happy?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well the title makes a lot more sense now...sounds good. Still upset about the lack of the Leviathans though.

    ReplyDelete
  34. me too I getting sick of waiting I going to be hard to see sam go to this but GOD DAMN! jared is a great actor can kick ass with this.

    ReplyDelete
  35. It'll be sometime during season 4 i think remember a year passed between 5 and 6

    ReplyDelete
  36. i've said the same thing many times, can't help it he's just so damn charming.

    ReplyDelete
  37. So if they "helped Nora exorcise a demon", that might mean she's a hunter too, or at least knows about hunters. A Ben Edlund script so it'll probably incredibly good or incredibly bad - he doesn't do anything by halves :) Also a new director, so we'll see how that goes.

    ReplyDelete
  38. You made me wonder....if Crowley has demons all over trying to keep tabs on the Leviathans. Crowley would most likely not to cross paths by accident.
