  4. I hope Sammy's alright! Can't wait!!!

  5. I'm a little confused because I thought that the next episode was the time travel one...oh well

  6. Me too. I thought Sam was going to get attacked and Dean was getting sent back in time. Now it looks like Dean is going to get another Benders-like episode and get to go back in time. I hope Sam has something interesting to do while Dean is busy.

  7. This is the one where Dean becomes obsessed with revenge while Sam returns the girl, and I guess gets attacked. Next ep Dean time travels and Sam runs into an old friend.

  8. That made it look like Sam is the one getting rescued by revenge obsessed Dean and the little girl looking for her dad. I guess all Sam does is get attacked and rescued in 11 and gets to work with Sheriff Mills in 12 where no doubt she'll be the one who actually does all the saving?

I'm wondering are the writers already scaling back Jared's scenes and importance to the plot till the end of the season so he can prepare for baby? Just hope the baby doesn't come early or there will be no Sam at all then again.....

I have to say I am more excited for the baby's arrival than I am for the rest of the season. Hopefully Jared tweets us lots of pics and news..

  9. The writers are just following the same formula they have been doing all along. I  had hoped we were going to move away from that but it wasnt to be. .

  10. Well at least there was no wallowing in the previews and plenty of action.  Here's hoping that's the way the whole episode leans.

  11. Can;t wait. Thanks for this!

  12. That was the strangest and most difficult video to understand.  What station is that?   It was more interested in getting its name out then the show's.

  13. You're right, klutzy_girl. It is a Canadian station.

  14. It's CHCH. A Canadian channel. Here are the words for those who want it.

    Commentator: Sam’s in trouble.
Dean: I’m trying to get Sam and your Dad back.
    Girl: I’m coming with you.
Commentator: But it might be too late.
    Girl: He’s probably dead.
    Dean: You don’t know that.
    Girl: People die, Dean

  15. thanks so much!  we're closing in  :)

  16. I do hope that Sam does get to do something besides getting attacked.

  17. Oh thanks for the clarification :)

  18. Oh if the entire episode is filled with action and very little wallowing that would be AWESOME in my opinion!

  19. I don't think Sam gets hurt right away.  He starts out looking for that girl's missing dad (a hunter) and runs into Meghan Ory's character at a truck stop.  I'm guessing she's the one responsible for Sam's unfortunate condition in the promo.

  20. I'm just skeptic about Sam's involvement. His storyline just might be a 5-10 thing. I've learned not to get excited. But thanks for the info :)

  21. I know what you mean.  He doesn't even have a speaking role in the promo.  Even when the plot seems focused on Sam or he's in peril, the POV is still mostly Dean - Dean worrying, Dean looking for him, Dean rescuing him.  Like Benders - Sam was the one captured, but all we got was him hanging out a little in a cage.  Dean got the plot with the Sheriff, Dean got to fight the bender family, Dean got hurt, and Sam was just sort of there to run in after the action was over.

I'm hoping we get some Sam POV here but not holding my breath seeing as he doesn't even speak in the promo, just gets bitten a few times.  At least they'll be acknowledging his presence though, rather than just having him check the perimeter or something to get him out of the way.  Unless having him captured is just a more inventive way of getting him out of the picture so they can focus on Dean...  *sigh*

I wonder if being captured and bitten will trigger any issues with Hell, or if they'll address his hellucinations any more this ep.  It would be nice to have that acknowledged for once.

  22. I understand your skepticism.  Frankly, I've been skeptical of this entire season so far.

  23. with the next 3 episodes all part of Dean's arc and Dean being Dean there is very little chance that there will be no angst/emoing going on. Dont be fooled by a promo.

  24. My prediction:

First 10 minutes - fallout from Bobby.

Minutes 10-20 - Sam and Dean meet girl and argue over death/what to do next. Dean won't accept Bobby's death and wants to do something Sam considers suicidal. They go seperate ways.

Minutes 20-30 - Sam and Dean proceed on their separate paths. Sam gets attacked.

Minutes 30-50 - Sam unconscious while girl gets Dean to help. Lots of Dean angst and guilt. He feels responsible for Sam getting attacked.

Minutes 50-60 - Dean rescues Sam. Brothers bond. Dean realizes he hasn't lost everything. He could still lose Sam.

  25. I  can't wait!  Its so great the show being about Sam and Dean again. Perhaps Deans "dangerous" obsession with getting Dick is that it almost costs Sam his life.

  26. Doesn't give anything away. Looking forward to it though.

  27. I always hope for Sam POV but I've learned that even in episodes that are supposedly Sam-centric it is all about Dean.

Re: Hell-- that is one of the things that the show doesn't do well-- instead of upping the angst to the levels of the boys having to really deal with their issues, the angst is upped but the boys never deal and then it is forgotten about for more than half a season. THEN the issue return with a vengeance and even then it doesn't get dealt with. :(

  28. :D I like to know that I'm not the only one being really skeptical of this season. Thanks!

  29. An excellent one and I'll add that I think that it might be even more Dean skewed than you predicted.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah I know. Most likely it will be angst filled and I won't even watch it. But I was being optimistic and daydreaming with my previous comment :)

  31. Looks like it should be a good episode.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The next 3 episodes are supposed to be Dean centric

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks for the information :)

  34. Oh my God how hot looks Dean with that 40's outfit!!
