Star Trek: The Next Generation gets high-def makeover
6 Jan 2012
Cancelled ShowsTo commemorate the anniversary, the series is being completely remastered into full high definition, a painstaking process that requires going back to the original film negatives and re-cutting each episode shot for shot. IT IS WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED MY ENTIRE LIFE.
ReplyDeleteDS9 next, please~
I know, DS9, was my favorite of the franchise ( I mean I love Jean Luc over every captain, but as for the overall story and conclusion of the series, I love DS9 the best) I know as a girl I should like Voyager the best, but, the only thing that show gave me was seven of nine (Jeri Ryan is STILL drop dead gorgeous). But I doubt it it will ever happen.
ReplyDeleteSounds like heaven for Trek and HD fans!
ReplyDeleteThanks. There is an impressive difference!
ReplyDeleteI'm so stupidly excited about this. It's kind of shocking how bad the original footage looks in comparison.
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteThat looks pretty damn cool. I always liked TNG for its stories, but watching it in HD won't hurt either. Hope DS9 gets the same treatment sooner or later too.
