  1. Thanks for these! Looks like Fiona is gonna make some bad decisions here... and looks like that professor's prediction about Lip is slowly coming true... he's capable of soo much with his intellect, but Karen is dragging him down... I like that they kept the Esther(?) character with Kev and V, and would like to see them expand on her a character a bit down the line.

  2. I don't think Karen is dragging Lip down at all, actually. If anything, I like that Lip and Karen are in a sense, best friends. Even in that tiny sneak peak, they are basically telling each other their thoughts and opinions. For one thing, Karen cares about his family, hence her asking how Ian is doing, and what Lip's thoughts are. And Lip is obviously jealous of Jody spending that much time with Karen. So he is asking her questions. Lip can go to a college and achieve his goals. No way would Karen stand in the way of that. I think she'd support him. I personally love Lip and Karen together. I like how they do have this dysfunctional relationship, yet this unique bond. So I hope they'll get officially together, without the whole "friends with benefits" routine.

I LOVE Ethel. I'm glad she's part of the Kev/V family. She is an amazing and fun addition to the show. I hope the writers do keep her around. I'd also like to learn more about her. And I feel like in every episode, we learn a little bit.

As for Fiona, I MISS Steve. I know that he is back next week. But 2 episodes so far without him have felt a little empty to me. I miss the Steve/Fiona dynamic/love story. So I'm happy to see him back soon. Plus, Justin is an awesome actor. So the show to me feels a little bit like it's missing a huge piece.

  3. I agree about Steve. That dynamic has been missing these past two episodes. I get what they're trying to establish without him (showing Fiona definitely NOT over him and breezing through all these rebound guys) but I'm so ready for him to come back. Cannot wait for next week and the rest of the season.

  4. I agree about Ethel.  (I think it's Ethel, not Esther)  There are probably lots of interesting avenues that could be explored with her character.
