The Secret Circle - Episode 1.16 - Casting News - Tim Phillipps to Guest

25 Jan 2012

Australian Tim Phillipps has landed the possibly recurring role of Grant on the witchy CW drama.

Good-looking, preppy, spontaneous, playful and confident, Grant literally sails into Chance Harbor on an impressive yacht. How's that for a dramatic entrance? Described as the life of any party, this worldly bon vivant is a breath-of-fresh-air...except he's not all that he appears to be.

Phillipps will first appear in episode 16.

Once Upon a Time fans may recognize Phillipps from his turn as Prince Thomas/Sean Herman aka Cinderella's beau. Previously, he starred on Australian dramas Bed of Roses and Neighbours. Phillipps is the third Aussie to land on the series after Phoebe Tonkin (Faye) and Louis Hunter (RIP Nick!).

  2. The character rundown doesn't make him seem interesting to me but I'll be satisfied if his acting is better than the other guys in the cast.

  6. He sounds like a guy Faye might be interested in, at least in the beginning ...
Since I doubt they'll make him another witch-hunter, I'm curious to find out what storyline they've got planned for him.
