Actually I kind of feel like a little too much is working against him for no reason. I mean, Diana broke up with HIM, for the very reason that there's something special between him and Cassie, but Cassie is refusing to let anything happen because of Diana.
In my opinion, Diana is being selfish and Cassie is being an idiot. She left Adam because of that connection, but she's also doing a pretty good job of putting Cassie through a guilt trip should she ever decide to become more than friends with her ex.
Adam is caught in a difficult situation where his previous girlfriend is using their friendship to stonewall the reason they broke up in the first place.
I don't disagree with you about the situation they find themselves in. I approve of the rejection because I find the Adam character to be extremely uninteresting.
In my opinion they haven't developed Adam's character beyond the love triangle. How can we care about him and cassie together or him and diana, if we know nothing about him and thus are not invested.
Excellent point. Sometimes the lack of development can be overcome by a great deal of chemistry but these two don't seem to have that. So, the development you mention would be a necessary prerequisite if these two were to make a run at a relationship and we're not there yet.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I approve of this rejection. Well done, Cassie.
ReplyDeleteFinally they're getting back to Cassie and Adam... Although even in this scene there isn't much chemistry between them
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeletehe going always going told that BS bout they are met to be together oooh plz give me a break
ReplyDeleteI agree right back. Diana has been a great friend to Cassie, glad to see she's doing the same.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. I really felt it this time, while I had trouble seeing chemistry between them at times.
ReplyDeleteWTG Cassie
