Glad to see Supernatural staying at it's average. Here's hoping it will rise a tenth in the finals and stay steady throughout the dreaded TV spring downward spiral.
the midseason premier of Secret Circle had the same 18-49 rating and only 290k more viewers than SPN. That's with the number one rated show on the CW as its lead-in. Which got a 1.5 in 18-49 and 3.32 million viewers
"The Secret Circle" has a top lead-in (as such things are reckoned on the CW), but it's barely out-performing "Supernatural," which is stuck in the Friday-night graveyard. Can you imagine how well the Winchesters and Co. would do if the network did decent promo work for the show, gave it a strong lead-in, and put it sometime besides Friday evenings?
I'm very happy that Supernatural is holding on and I only hope it keeps steady when Grimm and Fringe come back. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed :)
I would imagine Chuck's ratings will continue to go up since the countdown to the series finale has started. I'd bet the finale does very well for Chuck.

ReplyDeleteOh the dreaded ratings ;) Yeah for SPN staying constant.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm glad Supernatural's staying pretty constant, if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteJust to give some hindsight on the ratings.
