I like the US version of this show, and would have probably loved it had I not watched the UK version first. The UK version is so much more real, fun, funny, and dramatic. There is a balance to the UK show that I have yet to find in the US show. And I'm American born and bred so this isn't some pot-shot at the US version. I'm also of the some opinion with Being Human UK vs. Being Human US the UK original version is just better to me. Now there is going to be a US version of the UK hit and BAFTA award wining show Misfits. What's up with remaking so many UK shows? I say import the UK shows as is or don't remake them to fit a American audience. In my opinion the show loses some of its humor and charm when producers attempt to adapt the scripts. The Office worked out great, because of the cast, but sometimes lightning doesn't strike twice.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
loved it
ReplyDeletefrank up to the same old tricks, glad they got Liam back
ReplyDeleteHell i missed it
ReplyDeleteIt was okay. I think I like all of the plotlines this episode set up more than the content of the episode itself.
