yea i agree lilith its getting better. More mythology, the darkness in her is entertaining as are all the characters except now i officialy dislike faye. Shes so freaking annoying and stupid no offense to the actor or writers really. I like melissa even better then her and thats saying something. To me the faye/melissa story is always to me like the small b story of the show that i have to endure.
The show is definitely getting better, though Jake still has 2 expressions. Cassie's scenes were really interesting…I can see why she likes using her dark magic. Go Charles! You tell Dawn she's a greedy b**ch. If Granny ever comes back, Faye should be the next one in the ground. I don't get why they don't ask what the consequences are before they realize it was a bad idea.
Kind of, I guess. But it still makes me roll my eyes. So many of the actors are not good and the dialogue and delivery can be so cheesy. I keep hoping it will get better the way TVD did around this time in their first season. But it's just not there for me yet.
Awesome! Might have been the best episode so far.I think Natasha Henstridge and Britt Robertson were amazing tonight. I definitely like this show more than I like TVD in its first season, and I already like it more than TVD's 3rd season. I'm absolutely mad for the next episode.
The crazy grandma was great, that's one fine actress.
The scene in the woods was really spooky, nice job as well. The best for me was Cassie enjoying the darkness, Britt was superb.
I don't see cheese or anything like some people still do, they're finding its legs and this episode was truly awesome.
I'm glad to see there wasn't a drop-off in quality from the fall finale to the winter premiere.
- Grey Damon's acting hasn't improved since the last time I saw him but it wasn't distracting so I'm okay with it. - Stepfanie Kramer was great. After one episode, she's already the best adult character on the show. - I'm really liking Cassie's dark powers. I hope we see a lot more of 'em. - I'm liking the growing divide between Charles and Dawn. Eventually, I could see Charles switching sides. - I'm glad Melissa is becoming more independent because her character can only become more interesting if she has her own subplots that don't involve Faye. - I both like and hate Faye. Allow me to elaborate...
Phoebe Tonkin is the only decent young actress on the show besides Britt Robertson but it seems that The Secret Circle is bound and determined to make her character completely unlikable. I'm fine with Faye's mean girl personality but she's continually disloyal to everyone in the circle and she's always putting her own agenda before everything and everyone else. She may be a part of the circle but she's only ever concerned about herself. She's a lot like her mother that way.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
it's getting better
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree
