I could have sworn we were told we would find out what the worst thing Eliot ever did while working for Moreau. They said that at the beginning of the season, that it would be this season, and yet there's only one ep left, with no sign of any reveal from the promo. I'm disappointed.
Loved the pop culture references, e.g. the prosthetic stomach, which hints to the whole Beyonce controversy. Especially loved the Doctor Who homage: "Bow ties are cool!" Very dramatic ending, can't wait for part 2/season finale!
Just watched it... wow, what a fantastic episode. Bummed about Nate's father and just when it looked like they might have a chance for reconciliation - (you never know with this show but it looks like there was no escape for Jimmy), but am wondering if next week's finale might signal a dark turn for Nate's character..
I couldn't agree more on how absolutely stupid the theory is. I just thought they were attempting to capitalize off of it (as shows tend to do with popular - and sometimes stupid - topics in the media). <>
Pretty good. I can't believe they pulled off an ongoing Die Hard joke AND threw in a Doctor Who reference for good measure. After all of Parker's time machine obsessing, I should have seen it coming. The villain reveal was a good callback to the pilot.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy crap, that was amazing! Especially the end. Poor Nate - I can't believe that happened to his dad.
ReplyDeleteAnd I absolutely cannot wait until next week!
Phew... Gonna' be a long week's wait. Again!

ReplyDeleteWell, like you say: there's one ep left. If we are getting that reveal, the season finale sounds like the place for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of Nate so I really, really don't want to feel sorry for him. But I do. Poor Nate and damn you Leverage for making me care.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely stunned at the ending. Poor Nate! Next week is going to be insane, I'm sure.
ReplyDeletevery emtional

Heartbreaking end! Poor Nate!
ReplyDeleteAnd I was so suprised to see Dubenich (from 1x01) again!
Loved Die hard reference;)
Except this was filmed way before that stupid Beyonce theory, so that doesn't hold up.

ReplyDeleteNot bad. The Die Hard stuff was great. Man, Eliot is cool. So fun to watch him.
ReplyDeleteI've been calling every bow tie wear a Who reference this season, so I'm esp glad to have seen it confirmed for reals this time XD
