This was great. I loved that Barney appointed himself the new leader of the group, I sometimes love that they have a therapist pointing out to them when they are doing something really weird or so wrong. I also loved drunk Ted. But, the sooooooo.. moments quickly became a bore and I really wanted to kick Lily's dad most of the time, but that might have been the point
I found Robin and Kevin fun together tonight, but... there was not much sexual chemistry going on. Maybe they looked awkward together cause the trying to impress each other thing, but alas, it was weird.
Ted was awesome this episode! he makes a great comedic relief! And Barney is just awesome, like, always.
Couldn't get enough of Marshall and Lily's storyline! I loved the evil game-ness of it all! I hate to say this, but I wasn't too crazy about Kevin. They have been going out for alot of episodes, in my opinion, they should be past that phase. Loved the Better Lily and New Marshall thing! A very, very, very, very, very enjoyable episode! Didn't want it to end :)
Wasn't that enjoyable for me. The characters need space from each other i think. I love the group but they are such a group, so much so that anyone new introduced is hated. Zoey, Kevin hell I didnt even like better lily and new marshall and better lily was played by the same actress. Something needs to happen create a bit of tension like when Ted and Barney Weren't Bro's.
- Better Lily and New Marshall are great. - Robin and Kevin are so hard to watch. Their scenes are really not funny. It's just awkward. - The plot with Lily's dad was funny for a few minutes then I just wanted it to be over with,. - Drunk Ted is always great. - The new title sequences with Barney were fantastic.
It was just okay to me. Actually, elements annoyed me. I thought the strip club visit could have been A LOT funnier. It was just so mundane. It annoyed me that night Robin or Kevin would open their mouths and tell each other the truth. Biggest sign this couple isn't going to make it, yet. I did love drunk Ted winning massively at poker. Liked the last scene. It was sweet.
I thought this was a fantastic episode.. the changing of the opening credits (2? 3 times?) was hilarious, and I loved drunk Ted.. the Robin/Kevin stuff was meh, but I don't like him anyway, so that's probably part of it haha.. I also loved the resurgence of stripper Lily, and for once, Lily's dad didn't completely creep me out.. well, not the entire time, anyway.
That's their 150th episode? HIMYM writers are loosing it. The only funny thing was the new title sequences with Barney. Robin and Kevin were boring, not because the characters are boring, but because the storyline wasn't good. I'm disappointed.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it! Drunk!Ted is the best and it was a great episode.
ReplyDeleteKevin has got to go, though. He and Robin completely suck as a couple, and he sucks as a person.
It was weird but funny. It's a good mix i think. But i don't felt the chemestry between kevin and Robin

ReplyDeleteI agree totally on drunk Ted, he was just so hilarious "I will never find love!"
ReplyDeleteBut your Kevin hate is mostly unwarranted and increasingly unsettling

klutzy_girl: Everywhere you post, all I see is "Kevin has to go" - stop it already. He will be gone, get over it already.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand tho, I totally agree with Ted being drunk as a best part (I'm a stripper, woo :DDD).

ReplyDeleteGood fun episode, but the Lilly dad storyline was not great
ReplyDeleteI loved it!! Even Kevin didn't annoy me - he's starting to grow on me now. Still hate him and Robin together but he's okay.
ReplyDeleteAn alright episode.

ReplyDeleteAwww! The gang is growing up!! We all have to grow up! :(
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know when the next episode is?
ReplyDeleteI thought Chris Elliot was hilarous as Lily's dad...haha..how he kept purposefully changing the day he had to move out...and I kinda like Kevin too
ReplyDeleteNext monday :)
ReplyDeleteNice!! I loved the horror style adventure of Marshal in the new home.
