Good ep. The COTW was just ok, and was bummed by Monoe getting a beatdown, but liked that he knows that like he's not like the Blubadten(?) of tales, Nick is not like the Grimms of tales and is a friend who wants to do the right thing. Not sure what to make of the stalkers in the pickup truck...
A good episode, but a bit slow. Not as much humor either... maybe because we did not have much time spent with Nick an Monroe in the same scenes.
What were the creatures that ambushed Monroe?
Are creatures now taking the drive-by tour of the Grimm's house like tourists tour stars houses in LA? XD IT could be something more nefarious too I'm sure....
If a snake-man or LausenSoschlange has a bright colorful car is he poisonous? XD
I've decided the digital creatures on Grimm are pretty good. The style of the superimposed VFX over faces annoyed me a little the first episode or two. Now I see it an appreciate the VFX more and more.
I thought the case of the week was completely dull but the subplot with Monroe, Juliette, and the reapers was much more interesting. I wish they had reversed it so the case of the week was the subplot and the main focus was on the reaper story.
I don't think so. I think the Grimm Stalkers are the buddies of the little guy who was fixing the fridge several eps ago. It's a story thread they let drop for (imho) too long.
This show really is getting better and better. I have to confess though...between the promo and the fact that the victims all had the same face for a few moments...I dubbed the ep Criminal Minds: Grimm. (I love it when I make myself laugh.)
I love that Nick's first reaction when Monroe told him what happened was 'I'll stay away.' Loved that Monroe's reaction was 'like hell you will.' :-) Loved the moment, when they had Marty cornered that he saw his dad in all the mirrors. That was a nice moment.
Bahaha Blu-Bad-Ten! I lub you. That is my new favourite word :):):) As to the stalkers in the UTE (Australian for Pick Up Truck) I think the fact that they're more scared of Nick makes them a bit more ominous. People/Creaple (creature people) do worse things out of fear than out of dislike methinks... The mousey plot was just that - mousey, lacking. However, the Laughingschlossenflossen thing scared the crap out of me - not a Snake fan.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loved it. I am obsessed with the lighting of this show, no lie. It's like eye candy.
ReplyDeletewas good
ReplyDeleteWait... The Grimm stalkers are not the same people who beat up Monroe (being Hexenbeest et. al.), are they?
ReplyDeleteThreats on two fronts.

ReplyDeleteVery good, liked it a lot.
ReplyDeleteA grimm is a celebrity in Grimmworld :) I hope Nick's girlfriend will go further exploring.
ReplyDeleteMeh. This was just okay.

Not a fan of this episode, found it a bit dull. Hoping for a bit more concerning the Grimm watchers, that was a promising story thread though.

Does anyone think that Marty and his father is like Psycho's Norman Bates and his mother?
ReplyDeleteWas on vacation but recorded it. However, out of 66 votes, 19 were OK and awful. Will skip.
