Was an amazing episode....Teddy's thing with Cristina was a little to much, but at the end I got it!! MerDer and Zola at the end was so funny, love it!!!
Fantastic episode!! At first, I was really thrown off with the whole Teddy/Cristina situation but at the end, it was just heartbreaking. Wonderful job by both Kim Raver and Sandra Oh. As for Kepner, I just wish she'd be quiet. I can't help it, I just don't like her and nothing she does will make me like her. And Webber was a douche in this episode, really irritated and disappointed in the crap that he pulled tonight. Though I do think more than ever that this is going to be his final season.
Oh and how awkward was that scene with Lexie and Mark at the end? I felt so bad for her, I wish they would get back together already!! And loved Callie/Arizona tonight, as usual.
Good episode. MerDer and Zola were freaking adorable. I wasn't really a fan of the whole Teddy/Christina thing. I mean I understood it at the end but still, wish there was a little bit more conflict between the two, seemed way to easy. Also, that ending with Mark and Lexie was so awkward. I really just wish the two would get back together. They're perfect for each other :)
I really liked the Teddy/Christina thing. I think that his death didn't pull them away, but brought them closer. Teddy really needed to understand, to knew that Christina did everything she could and what she herself would have done. I liked Kepner when she cracked, she was like an audience surrogate asking what the fuck was going on, something that I think Christina knew the whole time. Raver and Oh just have such a great chemistry together and can really portrait heartbreak in a heartbeat. This was my favorite plot of the episode, which was considerably lighter.
Webber/Karev was damn funny, Meredith/Bailey was surprisngly funny (Pompeo has a great comedic timing!) Merder and Zola made me go all awww and Lexie, oh you poor girl.
I thought he was kind of being a prick but I can understand it. He was teaching Alex a lesson in his own way. I thought it was a nice little side story to have although i would've liked to seen alex operate with Arizona on such an awesome surgery.
Agree with everything everyone has said so far, Shepherds = adorable, Lexi/Mark = Awkward, Bailey/Ben = Moving In, Cris/Teddy = yawn festival and annoying but sad all the same. Zola OMG! how fast have those girls playing her grown also did you all see when everyone clapped she did too how freaking cute was that, then at the end her supposed first steps mmm sure sure was a little to balanced to be the first steps haha but a very special awwww moment none the less. Overall another smashing episode smacked outta the park - 2 thumbs up. Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Patrick and Shonda.
OMG I know!!! My heart ached for Lexie when he turned to look at her and she saw his headset. He needs to get his head out of his butt and get back with her!!
I would have liked to see Alex operate with Arizona too, it could have really given Alex a leg up in getting the Peds fellowship (even though I'm 75% sure he has it in the bag)...and I just don't really see the reason for Webber feeling the need to teach Alex a lesson anyway.
I'm glad April said something to Teddy.. I was really impressed that Cristina held up as well as she did, but it had to be heartbreaking to go over a surgery like that, detail by detail, when she knew the ending was never going to change.. and that her colleague's husband died on her table.
Pretty great episode. Mer/Der with Zola was adorable especially Zola clapping. The Teddy/Christina stuff was horrible to watch but that final scene made it totally worth it. Teddy just needed to understand it all but she trusts that Christina did everything she could. Fantastic performances from both actresses. I also loved that Kepner intervened.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it! The beginning with the Shepherds was adorable.
ReplyDeleteAnd Webber and Teddy pissed me off so much. I'm glad April called out Teddy on her crap with Cristina, who I'm surprised didn't crack.
This episode was freaking awesome another balanced show!!!! Great!!

On the other hand, the Mark/Lexie scene: awkward!!!

ReplyDeleteWeber was great, but when Alex became so "stupid"?!?
