it was really different, in fact really quiet without gg speaking, it was interesting to meet the real charlie aka lola wondering how that will work out and b's fear
A heartbreaking episode. Poor Chair, Blair because of her promise to God to marry Louis if Chuck lives and Chuck because doesn´t understand why Blair left him after de accident. I can´t stand this any longer. I´m tired of this mess between them. They should and need to be together for good, but the writers just continue spoiling their relationship. Because of that the ratings are low every week. This should be the last season of Gossip Girl with a happy ending for our couple Chair.
What the hell was this? It was by far the dumbest episode to date. The writing of this show can be or could be so brilliant (hello season 1 and 2) but this? I read that Josh Safran said that "...religion has been always a huge part of Blair's life...remember when she went to church in season 1..." Yeah, but that was it! Never again did we see Blair remotely religious... Whatev.
The episode was very well done, but the plot was a complete rip off of Graham Greene's 'The End of the Affair'! I know that's the name of the episode, but they literally stole the ENTIRE thing from that book. Way to have absolutely no originality! And the book was written in the 50s about a very religious character, therefore it made absolutely no sense for Blair to take her promise so seriously! But Leighton was phenomenal.
This was a pretty good episode. The second half of this season is already shaping up to be better than the first half.
- I've finally realized that these characters are completely incapable of trusting each other for more than a few minutes at a time. - I don't know what to think of Blair's re-dedication to God. I'll take a wait and see approach to this. - Louis needs to go. It's to the point where I want to punch him whenever I see his character. - I missed Ivy. The episode felt a little empty without her. - I wonder why Rufus didn't tell Lily what Ivy told him or maybe he did and their both in denial. - Chuck goes from zero to full-on stalker in no time flat. - Boring Serena is boring. LOL - This show needs some Georgina right away.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
not the best one but it was ok
ReplyDeletewow just about to watch it but no sure after the ratings.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the way they build this episode. It was great
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd say this but the best part of the episode was Derena.

ReplyDeleteJust a terrible, terrible episode. Ed and Leighton's acting was the only good thing about it.
ReplyDeleteThis just keeps getting worse and worse.... can we get some new ideas?

ReplyDeleteI thought the episode was structured really well, and Ed and Leighton were fantastic.
